Mark and I had been talking to each other at work every shift and have been growing closer and closer every day. My feelings for him have been getting more serious the more we talk to each other. 'Good morning Y/N.' Mark greets me as I walk through the door. 'Good morning Mark, how are you?' I ask. 'Not good. A friend just cancelled our plans and now I have no one to go to lunch with.' He says sadly. 'I can go with you.' I suggest, a small bit of blush forming on my cheeks. 'Really? That would be awesome. I can't wait!' He says excitedly. The day goes by faster than normal as I waited to go out with Mark. Finally, it was time. We drove up to his favorite resturaunt and went inside. 'Would you say this is a date?' I blurt out. I quickly cover my mouth in embarrassment over my outburst. 'Well, if you want it to be, it could be...' He trails off, blushing slightly. 'Oh..' I grin. We eat and talk for what seems like hours, enjoying each other's company and occasionally flirting a little bit inbetween. 'Well, we should get going.' He says sadly, obviously not wanting to leave. 'Yeah..' I respond. We walk outside and the weather is so cold we can see our breath in the air. I shiver and Mark notices. 'Here, let me warm you up.' He says, gesturing for a hug. 'O-okay..' I agree, melting into his embrace. After a while, he looks into my eyes and my heart starts racing faster. He tilts my chin up and slowly moves his face closer to mine. I can feel his breath on my lips and it's intoxicating. Finally, he closes the distance between us and gives me a passionate kiss. My mind races and my heart flutters. He pulls away and smiles. 'Pretty good first date, huh?' He asks with a laugh. 'Yeah. I think so.' I reply with a giggle.
