LEVIS POV
I walk down to Erwin's room I enter and see him at his desk writing reports. "Thank you for what you did for (Y/N) I don't think I'd ever seen her so happy. Me thanking you doesn't mean I trust
you but I won't say anything if you won't." I start as I close the door. "I'm going to do it today...I'm still required to ask your permission for these kind of things..." I say Erwin looks at me and sighs "There could be consequences you realize if the higher ups find out but I'm not going to say anything. I trust your judgment." He answered I nod and leave.

I walk over to (y/n) room and knock on the door my heart was pounding. "Hey you in here." I ask she comes out wearing my old jacket that was too big for me. Her hair was down and fell to her hips. I don't think I've ever seen it down.

"Yeah I'm here what's up." She said I swallow and blushed a bit.

Why was he nervous he's normally composed and hides nervousness well but something has him rattled. His hands were in his pocket and he was fidgeting with something in his pocket.

"We need to talk." He said we both sit down on the bed. "I've been thinking about these past few days and how I almost died out there and I want to talk about us..." he started I was honestly nervous he was acting weird and I couldn't tell what he was thinking.

"Do you remember when we first met how much we hated each other? You were so reckless and annoying and you wouldn't stop talking. You would also keep making jokes the same jokes your father made. I remember thinking 'I wonder if she'll ever shut up'. Now I want to talk to you all the time..." he explained my heart fluttered and I wanted to start crying but I suppressed the tears.

"...I first fell in love with you the day you fell asleep on my shoulder. I saw how beautiful you were and kind and how scared. How eager you were to prove yourself. I then fell in love with you more and more ever since. Now that we're here I want you to know that I want to live the best life possible and that's with you. The light in your eyes that brought light into my darkness. I forgot about revenge, pain and sorrow with you. You saved me you are my everything..." he said tears pooled in my eyes he must have noticed.

"...don't start crying yet if you start crying I'm going to start crying and I'm not done yet. I've grown to need you and love you these past few years and I can't take it anymore. I'm done hiding the fact I love you from the world anymore. I'm ready to take the next step in our lives. So (F/N)(L/N) will you marry me?" He asked and tears steamed down my face as I nod "yes..." I say I giggle and hug him knocking him over on the bed he laughed I kissed him and then before I knew it the thought hit me. "Aren't there rules..." I ask. "I don't care about the rules we are the same rank so I don't think it matters at this point." He explained. "I love you..." I whisper he kissed me "I love you more." He responded.
