~Stiles' POV~

After Scott told me what happened at Derek's house we agreed to talk to Danny about it. We got to the mall and found her in Forever twenty-one and she looked miserable as she stared at a shirt and I gave a sad look before she looked up and past Lydia and straight at us sending me in a slight panic that I just froze. She continued to talk to the girls before she payed for her sweater, I think, that's when I ran in and grabbed her saying that we needed to borrow her for a minute.

"What?" She asked as soon as I put her down with a slight glare that I don't think she realized she had.

"Why where you at Derek's house earlier?" I asked.

"Why do you care you know I can take care of myself?" She asked looking at me. And I hide my hurt pretty well I think.

"Are you dating him because if so, that is not okay." I said with a frown kinda hurt about the fact that she could be dating Derek Hale.

"I'm not dating him. And I don't plan on dating anyone for awhile." She answered and I let out a breath of relief before giving a slight frown that she said she would be dating for awhile. How long is awhile? Why do I care so much if she's dating or not?

"Then why where you there and you can't say because I was returning his car because then I would ask why where you using his car." I rambled.

"Will it stop you from framing him for a murder he didn't commit?" Danny asked looking me in the eyes.

Has she always had such breathtaking eyes?

"Probably not." I answered.

"Then it doesn't matter." She said walking back to the girls.

"Do you like her?" Scott asked as we followed the girls to the next store which happened to be Victoria Secret.

"What? Like who?" I asked looking at him.

"Danny. Do you like Danny?" He asked again but more specific.

"No, she's my best friend. I don't like her like that." I said and he gave me a look.

"Then why do you sound unsure?" He asked and I ignored him and watched the girls as they talked and Lydia laughed about something but it didn't sound the same as it normally would when I hear it.

After about ten to twenty minutes the girls walked out with several bags well Lydia and Allison walked out with several bags Danny had a single bag and she looked bored out of her mind.

We where sitting a few feet away from the girls so we could keep and eye on them but not really close enough to be seen or heard by them which means I couldn't hear what they where talking about.

"Allison thinks it's cute that I'm following her." Scott gushed and I rolled my eyes.

"Let me guess Danny said that we're stalking them and if she got a boyfriend that did this she would break up with them because she doesn't want to repeat shit?" I asked drinking my milkshake and Scott gave me a look of shock. "What?" I asked confused.

"That's pretty much exactly what she said." He said before blinking a couple of times and going back to listening to the girls as my phone buzzed.

I frowned before sending a text back saying that we are not going anywhere. I looked up and watched as a small smile formed on her lips before it disappeared and she went back to talking to Allison and Lydia.
