Max now standing inside of his tent, had no clue what to do.

He had been caught, and more than likely David will find out.

He felt in danger.

Danger.

It's all he's known his whole life.

'Home.'

School.

It's all a war zone to him, and he's the loosing side, the side fighting for light, but is slowly slipping into the darkness. The darkness of fear, hate, and self destruction.

Smoking.

It was his escape. His home. His true home. He felt safe and calm when he lit the cigarette. He felt that his life slowed back down, to what a ten year olds life should. He should be like Nikki, loving nature, being a kid, running, jumping, having fun.

But, he can't.

It's like a invisible wall, he can see the future, but somthing is stopping him. And it hurts more and more each time he tries to get through the self made wall.

He was hurting.

His chest hurt.

It burned.

And he didn't know why.

At the messhall

"What's going on happy campers? David asked showing a smile, but concered about what the campers might be up to.

They all looked at each other,  they narrowed their eyes, and nodded.

"Who's gonna say it?" Nurf said looking at the group.

"I-I guess I will...because im the one who s-saw it..." Harrison said nervously.

David tilted his head, but then he noticed that a camper was missing. Max.

Before Harrison could say anything David said "Were's Max?"

"Well....um that's the thing.." Harrison said scartching the back of his neck.

"He was smoking cigarettes on his tent.."
