Mackenzie's POV

I was sitting in the school garden with Jessie and Felicia my friends when Colette came sashaying over to talk to us, her lips stained with the Kylie lip kit.

We were talking about how my crush Matty B and I were hanging out last night and went to watch a movie.

Well anyway, she stormed over to me and everything about our friendship changed when she uttered four words I never thought I would hear from her. "You are an IMBECILE! " At that moment, Colette glared at me with beady red eyes and stomped off, leaving me in the dust.

I stood there dumbfounded as tears welled up in my eyes.

"What did I do?" I whimpered. Apparently, Colette had a crush on Matty too and when she heard, she was absolutely furious. I put my knees up and cried for the whole of lunch. I just couldn't eat.
