As we walked out of the mall towards Alex's he suddenly stopped. "Dang!" he huffed
"What?" I asked, worried
"It's nothing, I left my keys with Mike."
"Oh, ok! Just run and get them, I'll wait here." Mike was Alex's friend "I'll be fine."
"Ok" he says as he jogs off to get his keys. He is so fit, unlike me, I think as I look down at my stomach.
"Look at him go," a voice says from behind me. I quickly spin around to see someone standing behind me. "Oh, I'm sorry did I scare you?" he asked.
I study his features, shaggy brown hair and startling electric blue eyes. "No," I say "you didn't scare me at all."
"Good" he says "bye the way, my name is Ethan." He stuck out his hand.
"Oh" I say quickly, sticking out my hand "my name is Alisha."
Ethan smiles, "nice to meet you!"
"You too!" I smile back. Alex comes running back with his keys in hand. He frowns when he sees Ethan.
'Who's this?' He mouths to me. 'Is he bothering you?' I shake my head no.
"So," I say "Alex, meet Ethan. Ethan, meet Alex." They nod at each other and shake hands.
'Oh no' I thought as they glared at each other, 'this is going to be... special.
