(Ross's POV)

"I'm mad at you for making me cancel my girls day plans with Laura but the same time I'm not mad at you because I know that hanging out with Laura for the day is a good idea. Hopefully you'll have your memory back when you get back home." Rydel says leaning against the door frame of my room with her arms crossed.

I chuckle fixing my shirt in the mirror. "I don't think it's going to be that easy Rydel." I say.

She rolls her eyes at me, "At least you're giving it a shot. Now hurry up you don't want to keep your date waiting." She snickered.

"It's not a date." I scoffed. I love my sister dearly but she gets annoying easily.

'Whatever, just hurry up." She states. "I'm ready, I'm ready!" I surrender and follow my older sister out the door.

I got to Laura's apartment in a matter of minutes and called Laura so she could buzz me in.

I walked inside the apartment in awe. I noticed that this was a beach front apartment and an idea popped in my head.

I headed to the 10th floor and searched for the number of Laura's unit. When I finally found it I took a deep breath and knocked on the door.

(Laura's POV)

I woke up late this morning. The minute I saw what time it was I jumped out of bed and raced to the shower.

After getting dressed into a simple pastel pink off-the-shoulder dress, I ran down the stairs to get some breakfast. I poured myself a bowl of cereal and some milk before I heard a knock on the door.

"Coming!" I yelled making my way to the door. I opened it to find a handsome blonde staring at me.

"Hey" I breathed. "Hey" He said and grinned. "Are you ready to go?"

"Uh-I kinda just poured myself a bowl of cereal... Care to join?"

He chuckled. "Sure whatcha got?"

"Froot loops, Cheerios, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Corn Flakes." I replied, leading him to the kitchen.

"What? No Lucky Charms?"

"Oh come on, I know you only eat the little marshmallows." I retorted.

"Yeah, yeah whatever, I'll just have whatever you're having." I grinned "Froot loops it is!"

I poured him a bowl of Froot loops and some milk before sitting next to him on the bar stool with my bowl of cereal.

"This is some really good cereal Laura." He said munching down his Froot loops.

"I'm glad you like it." I smile. He looks at me and grins back. He pushes away his empty cereal bowl and glances at my body?

"I-I like your dress." He blurts out.

"Thanks. I like your shirt." I say and tug on his shirt.

"Woah Laura, you trying to take it off already?" He smirks and I smack his arm.

"I see that you're nastiness hasn't changed."

He laughs. "Are you ready to go now?"

"Yup." I say and gulp down the last bit of milk from the bowl.

"The beach? Ross I didn't bring my bathing suit or my sunscreen or my towel or my--"

"Laura. Relax. Yes, we're at the beach but we're not going swimming." He cuts me off.
