(Vanessa's POV)

"Alright guys, I think we should enjoy our time together with the Maranos by spending the rest of the week with them." Ryland suggested breaking the silence.

"That's a great idea Ry" I said looking at every one else in the room to hear what they had to say.

"Yeah I agree. Ness, you should maybe asked your parents if you could stay at our house for the week we have left. I could take you and Laura to your house to take some things with you so you could sleep over and stuff." Riker suggested.

"Really? Thanks Riker. I think they'd probably say yes since we won't see you guys for a while soon. Are you sure it would be alright with you guys? I don't want to be a bother..."
I said turning to Stormie and Mark.

"Vanessa Nicole Marano... Do you even have to ask us? Of course you and Laura can stay here for a week! You two are like daughters to myself and Mark. We will miss you two so so much so it would be amazing if you guys could stay for the time we have!" Stormie said. I love mama storms so much! I'm really going to miss her the most. Actually I'll miss the whole Lynch family. They mean a lot to me as well. We've known each other since forever because of how close Stormie and Mark are to my mom and dad.

"Thank you so much Mama Stormss!" I said give her a big hug and kissing her cheek.

"Awe sweetie anything for you and Laura! Now go with Riker and go get your things at your house." She said giving me another warm smile.

"Okay. Let's go Riker?" I said getting my jacket.

"Yeah I'll go get Laura." He said making his way to the kitchen.

Riker drove us to our house and mom and dad thought it was actually a good idea to have a week with the Lynch's before they leave.

We let Riker wait downstairs so we could pack some clothes and things for the week. Once we finished we headed out to the Lynch's but decided to stop by at Starbucks for a bit. We all ordered and took our drinks to a table.

"I feel like having a muffin or something. I'm just gonna go order again. I'll be right back." Laura said getting up and making her way to the line up.

"I'm gonna miss you Ness." Riker said and placed a hand on mine. Just like that I felt butterflies in my chest.

"I-I'm going to miss you to Rike." I said and smiled trying to hold back a couple tears. I seriously am going to miss this boy. We've been through a lot together. He's like my best friend and we've had tons of memories made together.

"Don't cry Ness. It'll be alright we will be back before you know it." He said and placed a hand softly on top of mine.

"Uh I-I really need to tell you something Vanessa..." He said nervously looking down at our hands that were touching.

"You can tell me anything, you know that. What's on your mind Blondie?" I said with a questioning/confused look.

"Well... I-I uh-- Vanessa Nicole Marano I really like you. Like more than just a friend. I love you. I want us to be more than friends. Ever since I looked into your big brown eyes I knew you were one special girl. If you don't feel the same way it's--" I stopped him by smashing my lips against his. Our lips moved in perfect sync.

"W-Wow. Vanessa will you be mine?" he said cupping my face with his hands.

"Wait so the kiss wasn't a big enough sign to let you now that I'm into you?" I giggled and he chuckled. He again pressed his lips on mine.

I pulled away, "it's a yes, just so you know." I said, and we laughed together not letting go of each other's gaze.

"OMYGOODNESS GRACIOUS ME. DID I JUST SEE RANESSA HAPPEN WITH MY OWN TWO EYES!" I hear Laura say moderately loud. Riker and I didn't look at her. We just continued to stare into each other's eyes. "Yea you saw it all happen right here, right now." Riker said and leaned his forehead on mine giving me a cheeky smile.

At the Lynch's house...
(Laura's POV)

When we got back to the Lynch's, Stormie lead us to a guest room that Vanessa and I could share since it had two beds and a bathroom in it. We thanked her again and started to unpack a couple things.

I sighed and threw myself onto my bed.
"Ness I need some sister talk." I said laying down looking up at the ceiling.

"Boy troubles I'm guessing?" She said as I heard her rummaging through her bag.

"You know me so will sista" I said keeping my eyes on the ceiling.

"Alright start talking." She said and I began to spill my heart out.

"Well it's just that-- should I tell Ross how I feel about him? How I'm head over heels for him? I mean I want him to know what he means to me now but at the same time I don't want to ruin our friendship because it means the world to me. I'm scared to take the risk." I confessed.

"Laur, love is all about taking risks." She said.

"But if I take this risk it could flush our entire friendship down the drain if something wrong happens. I mean this is Ross we're talking about. Ross, who's been my best friend for what seems like forever. What if he doesn't feel the same way? He means too much to me. I can't lose him. What do I do?" I groaned and rolled over and smashed my face into my pillow. I screamed but it was muffled because I was, well, I was smashed into a pillow. I stopped screaming into my pillow and rolled back to my original position.

"I think you should take the risk Laur. He's leaving soon. You should let him know before it's too late. If you want something to happen between the two of you then you should make a move. The guy shouldn't always have to make the first move, right..?" She said.

I got up and smiled. I walked over to her and gave her a hug. "Thank you so much Nessy" I said in the hug. "Anything for you lil sis" She said as we pulled away from the hug.

"I'm going to go get a drink downstairs. do you want anything?" I asked making my way to the door.

"Nah I'm good." She said as put my hand on the door knob.

I opened the door to find...???

I'm also very glad that I was able to redo this chapter right away after the whole thing got deleted because of stupid wattpad. I really hate wattpad right now because this isn't the first time it's happened.
