A Friend

The Next Day

'BABY! BABY! BABY! OOHHHHH!!! BABY! BABY! BABY! OOHH-' 

"Ugghhh, shut up will you!!" I say as I pull my arm out of the blanket to turn off my alarm.

But instead, I fell out of the bed. 

"OWW" I say as I rub my arm.

(Clap clap clap)

'omg' I mentally facepalm in my mind. 

I get up and put on my clothes.

When I'm done, I go downstairs and have breakfast.

"Ahem, Mia, so, yesterday I didn't get a chance to talk to you about your first day, umm how was it??" Asks Mias dad.

"It was fine, just great dad, yeah, yeah it was fine, it was TOTALLY fine dad!" I exclaim as I grab my bag and go outside.

I take a seat on the front porch, as I wait for my mum to come outside and drop me off.

After rethinking everything, and deciding I had to get a friend, at least one, my mum finally came out.

We get in the car and she drops me off.

"Honey are you sure you don't want to talk about anything?"

"Yes mum I'm fine, really. Just go. Bye!" I say as I close the door and run into the girls toilets.

I randomly start crying when I hear a girl coming.

I quickly run into a stall when I realise that its not just one girl.

Theres two.

"I TOLD YOU NOT TO GO NEAR MY BOYFRIEND B/C HES MINE! BUT WHAT DID YOU DO!?! YOU WENT AHEAD AND KISSED HIM! I THOUGHT WE WERE BESTIES!!"

"But we are, and he came onto me I didn't think he would kiss me I swear" *cries*

"YOUR A GREAT LIAR! I HATE YOU! DON'T TALK TO ME EVER AGAIN! *pushes*"

*Door slams*

*cries*

"Omg are you okay? I heard everything" I say as I hold out my hand to pull her up.

"Oh, um I-i.." She says as she gets up hugs me and cries on me.

"Oh- umm okay. Its okay, cry all you want" I say as I hug her back.

She stops crying not too long after the other girl left.

"So, umm I didn't really catch your name, what was it again??"

"Oh yeah, umm Lilly, thanks again for what you did back there, like comforting me and everything" 

"Oh that was nothing, like literally" I say

RING RING

"Oh well we better get to class, what do you have?" I ask

"Umm, I've got... Math" Pouts Lilly

"Oh really? Me too!" I reply

"Great!" Exclaims Lilly!

***LUCHTIME***

"Umm, oh there you are! Thought I wouldn't find you!" I say as I spot Lilly and go up to her

As I'm walking to a table with Lilly a girl walks passed me and scoffs

"Geez, what was that about?" I say when I see Lilly frown and look down "Oh, imm guessing thats the girl from this morning?"

"Yeah"

"Well you shouldn't be worried, cut now you've got me, even though we just met, but still!" I smile

"Yeah, thanks"
