Beyond the woods

Chapter 6

Emily's p.o.v

"Niall?" I said slowly walking towards the door. All that could be heard was my heavy breathing, I looked out the window and saw nothing but trees and fog.

My head told me to stay in the cabin, but my heart told me to go find Niall. I know he's a kidnapping Demon, but I know he has a good side to him.

I reached for the doorknob remembering he locked me in. "Crap." I mumbled to myself I backed away from the door trying to think of a way to get out of here.

Than it hit me.

I ran over to the chair and picked it up before throwing it at the window making it shatter.

I climbed out trying to avoid the broken glass. When I got outside the cold air hit me making me shiver.

"Niall." I said again crossing my arm across my chest trying to keep me warm.

"E-Emily." I heard a weak voice say in the distance.

I walked towards it scared out of my mind, but I had to find him.

I walked around a huge tree only to see Niall lying on the ground, he was shirtless and he had huge gashes all over his body.

"What the hell happened to you?!?"

I got on my knees examining his cuts. "He g-got mad." He said grabbing my arm.

"Why?"

"Because I'm with you."

His words made my eyes go wide, I closed my eyes and took deep breaths.

I don't know why but I started to get this sick feeling inside of my stomach. "We need to get out of here." He said in a panic.

I nodded and helped him up.

When we got back to the cabin I instantly felt better. I put Niall down on the couch and ran to the kitchen.

I grabbed some towels and a bucket of water. I walked over to Niall and started to clean his cuts once again.

His eyes were locked on me, it kinda made me feel uncomfortable but I tried to ignore his intense stare as much as I could.

"I told you to stay in the cabin." He said placing a cold hand on my cheek. "He could've hurt you."

I turned my head slowly to look at him and gave him a weak smile. "I couldn't just let him hurt you Niall."

He furrowed his eyebrows at me and his lips formed a strait line. "You're the only person that cares for me."

I gave him a sympathetic look and took a seat on an old wooden chair.

"Thank you." He said giving me a warm smile.

He started to close his eyes and pretty soon light snores were coming from him.

I need to bring Niall back to normal.
