Beyond the woods

Chapter 9

Niall's p.o.v

I was so happy that I was going back to my old self I completely forgot the fact that I am a wanted person.

I look at Emily who is pacing back and forth trying to figure out what to do. "Emily." I say grabbing her hand, she looks at me with worried eyes.

"You need to be with your family, you need to stay away from me. I'm dangerous, I'm a falling rock zone and if you don't get away from me your going to get a pile a rocks fallen on you." I say placing a hand on her soft cheek, I swear I could here the sound of my heart breaking.

She furrowed her eyebrows and shook her head. "I'm not leaving you." I bit my lip before looking at the ground.

"Go." I say under my breath. "Ni-" I cut her off "I said Go!!" I yelled pointing to her house making her jump.

She shook her head before running to her house. I turned around and started walking back to the woods.

I should of known better.

I should have known that I was never going to escape the demon inside of me. I should of known that I was to dangerous.

But I didn't, I was to stupid to get that through my thick skull.

I'm better off in the woods alone, where I can't hurt anybody.

Emily's p.o.v

I quickly run towards my house with tears clouding my eyes. I can't believe Niall did that. But I also didn't want him to get arrested.

I got to close to him, I'm and idiot.

I get to my deck a open the door. "Mom!" I yell looking around the house.

"Emily!!" I hear my mom yell from the kitchen. I run to the kitchen and see her standing there with wide eyes.

Tears started to form as she ran towards me. "Oh my Gosh, I thought you were dead." She says in my ear.

I wrap my arms around her and started to cry myself. "I'm so glad you are safe." She let's me go and kisses my forehead.

This is the most attention I've gotten in my life from my mom. Pretty soon two buff cops walk into the kitchen.

"Ms. Emily, can we talk to you." The dark tan one says with a blank expression on his face.

I nod and walk past my mom. I can't tell them about Niall.

Niall's p.o.v

I yell at the top of my lungs throwing the chair across the room making it break into pieces.

Ever since Emily left the Demon has not left me alone. He's making me crazy, he's controlling me to do things I don't want to.

"Kill." He repeats in my head. I block my ears and scream as loud as I can. I can feel the cuts that were healed come back making pain shoot through my body.

I drop to my knees as I feel a horrible pain form in my heart. It feels as if he is crushing it with his hand.

Pretty soon the pain is to much and I black out.

Emily's p.o.v

"Tell us what happened." The dark tanned one by the name of Derek tells me.

I bite my lip trying to figure out what to tell them.

"Well everybody has told me to not go in the woods but curiosity got the best of me and I did. I got lost and finally found my way back." I say surprised of how convincing I sounded.

The cops exchanged glances and before They could say anything else I yawned and stood up.

"I'm really tired, may I rest?" I ask. Derek nods and I head up towards my room.

I slam my door and bury my face in my soft pillow, I feel this feeling in my heart as if it's breaking.
