I woke up to the sound of my phone buzzing. I slid the answer button just so my phone would be quiet.

"Hello?" I asked still tired.

"Good morning, baby." The husky voice answered.

"Who is this?"  I demanded sitting up.

"Who do you think, princess?" The voice teased. I lifted my ear from the phone to see the caller id, it read UNKNOWN NUMBER.

"I don't know, considering you called me having to hide your number." I replied turning my eyes into thin slits.

"Who else calls you princess and baby?!" The voice demanded shouting it into the phone. My heart sank to my stomach.

"Jake Marine." I rolled my eyes before continuing. "What do you want?"

"Hey now. That's no way to treat your boyfriend." The voice teased sounding hurt. My eyes widened when he said his last word, and they filled with anger.

"BOYFRIEND?" I shouted into the phone. "Boyfriends do not make out with someone else. They do not cheat. They don't call their girlfriend a prude who is so complicated that no one would ever love!" I added, stiffening.

"W-what, how did you fine out about that?" Jake Marine demanded sounding scared.

"Your so called friend Tyler told me about it. That's why I came to your stupid house. I was going to break up with you and give you your stuff back. But, instead I walked into you making out with someone. And for some reason I felt bad! I clearly no longer needed to say we were done, it was pretty obvious. Next time, you should watch who you trust. And the worst part wasn't seeing you kiss her, it was still loving you after you said no one could love someone as complicated as me!" I shouted back into the phone tears filling my eyes.

"That's because no one could ever love someone as complicated as you! It's the truth, Riley. Riley, you're the prettiest girl in our school. You were rejecting all guys, an when you said yes to me I realized why Alex did that bet in Seventh grade."

I cringed at his cold words. I started crying. I couldn't take it anymore, I hung up the phone and noticed I woke up Alexia. I wiped the tears and make up.

"I'm gonna take a shower. After do you wanna go get the guys and go to the water park?" I asked. She nodded and smiled. I walked over to my swimsuit drawer and picked out a peach Flounce Halter top from Victoria's Secret with matching peach bottoms.

I quickly hopped in the shower. After I was done I put my swimsuit on and on some black jean shorts from Hollister and a blink muscle tank from Pink. I went into the bathroom and put my makeup on. I threw a towel, mascara, eyeliner, and my phone into my Nike drawstring bag. By the time I was done packing, Alexia was ready.

We walked over to Jordon's house. Michael said he would drive. We all climbed into the truck, and

I had to sit on Jordon's lap again. This car ride was probably one of the most awkward car rides ever. No one asked for music, Michael kept his eyes on the road, Kyle and Miles stared out the window, Alexia and Jordon sat on their phones, and I just stared at my flip-flops. When we stopped I was about to open the door when Michael spoke.

"Cut the crap. What's going on, something is up." Michael demanded locking the doors. Jordon looked at the ground with guilt in his eyes. I turned around to look at him, and as I did Miles whispered something into Kyle's ear. Kyle then turned to look Jordon in the eyes.

"Really Jordon? Are you kidding me? I thought I made myself very clear last night!" Kyle asked.

"I'm sorry! It just kinda happened!" Jordon shouted hopelessly. Alexia and Kyle just shook their heads at him. I jumped from his lap onto Alexia's.
