Oakley's POV

I woke up the next morning still laying next to Zayn. The sun was shining in slightly through the curtains. I looked at the time. 10:11am. I got up from the bed & took out a travel pack of cereal from my bag & go into the mini fridge & grab the milk. I get a plastic spoon from my bag & sit on the lounge chair as I eat. Zayn is still asleep & I didn't want to wake him right away. I figured he must be tired from the long drive. I finished my cereal & through the disposable cup away. I walked outside & stood by the railing of the balcony that lead down to the lower level. The sun was shining. It was nice & warm. Not something I was used to for the middle of February. I stood there probably for five minutes before I went back inside & opened the curtains. Zayn's eyes fluttered as more sunlight beamed into the room. I walked over & kissed him.
"Good morning." I say.
"Good morning." He replies with a smile on his face. "What time is it?"
"10:38am." I say, glancing at the clock.
"Ho long have you been awake?"
"Not long. Maybe half an hour... So what's the plan for today?"
"I thought we would just chill out for today. Just stay around here. There's a restaurant across the street we can go have dinner at. Then tomorrow I was thinking of calling a real estate office to maybe find an apartment for us to stay at."
"That sounds good."
"It probably won't be anything too nice. Probably just a studio."
"That's all we need. I'll be living in luxury compared to where I've been for the past five months." I tease.
"Right." He smiles.

A week had passed & we were still staying in the motel. I was getting a bit tired of it, but today we were going to go look at an apartment. We looked at two already, just a couple of days ago. One was too expensive & the other just wasn't nice at all. We were hoping that the third time would be a charm.
We arrived at the apartment at around 11am with our real estate agent. There wasn't much around, but that didn't matter. We had a car to get around in anyways.
We walked into the apartment. It was a studio. It had a queen bed, a small walk in closet & a small kitchen with a table & two chairs. It also had a small sofa & a TVs. & of course a bathroom. It was nothing too fancy, but it was nice & within our budget.
"When can we move in?" Zayn asked the agent.
"We can go back to my office & sign the paper work & you can move in after two days."
"Perfect."

We had been living in our new place for about a month now. It almost felt like I was going back to a normal life. Louis gave us enough money for the month to pay rent & live that Zayn & I wouldn't have to work. Louis said he thought that was best, just until everything started to blow over. It made sense & Zayn & I were happy anyways. I would call Brin every other day & sometimes I would even get to talk to Louis. They said that they would come & visit soon. In the mean time Zayn & I would keep busy by going for walks, going to the mall or grocery shopping together, or going to the beach or the movies. At this point I had almost stopped thinking of my life before Zayn almost completely.

It was the beginning of April now. Zayn & I had been on our own for about two months now. It was around four in the afternoon on a Saturday afternoon when there was a knock at our door. At the time Zayn & I were sitting on the sofa watching TV. My head was laying on his chest.
"I'll get it." I said as I sat up slowly & kissed him before walking over to the door. I opened it & was surprised to see Brin & Louis standing in front of me.
"Oh my gosh!" I said. "Zayn, look who's here." He got up off the sofa. "Oh. Did I forget to tell you they were coming for a week?"
"You knew they were coming?"
"I wanted to surprise you."
"& they're staying for a week?"
"We are." Louis said. "I managed to get two weeks off work, so we thought we would make the drive down to see you guys for a week."
"This is great. I missed you guys so much."
"We missed you too." Brin said as she pulled me into a hug.
Then I looked at Louis. & smiles. "Come here love." He said as he approached me & pulled me into a hug.

That week had seemed to have flown by, & before I knew it, it was time for Louis & Brin to go back home.
"We'll come & visit you in July, Okay?" I said.
They both nodded. "Can't wait." Brin said.
I gave them both hugs. It was emotional goodbye, just like I knew it would be. But something felt weird about it. For some reason I felt like this was the last time I would be saying goodbye to them, & I didn't like the feeling I was getting from that.
I hugged Brin & of course I was crying. But when it came time to say goodbye to Louis, I just broke down completely.
"Do you have to go?" I asked as I sobbed.
"Yes love. I'm sorry but I have to go back to work in a few days."
"I wanna come home with you guys."
"This is your new home love. But we're just a phone call away." He assured me.
"I just really don't want to say goodbye to you right now."
"Don't worry Oak. We will see you again in a few months, okay?"
"Okay." I replied through my tears, but still feeling weird about it. Louis pulled me into a hug & embraced me for a bit longer than normal.
After the two of them had left I lay in bed & cried for the next two hours. I just didn't have a good feeling about something.
& in three weeks time, the reason I was feeling that way would become quite evident...
