Queen of the woods(under Heavy Construction)

Well hey! And just going to say sorry I haven't uploaded in a LONG time. I got a job and it been a good since I could sit and write. I hope you enjoy!

I laid down in the grass tired after Trinity and I had a full day of running, meeting new people,and seeing new things. It was fun to say at least,so today was good.

"What do you think they are like?" I said Trinity,looking up slightly were her head was that was above mine.

"I don't know...old I guess" she said panting.

"Why do you say that?"

"I don't know."

We didn't say anything else,listening to the life around us until the bright thing in the sky went away. The darkness came back and I was happy since my parents were now awake again. I couldn't wait to see them. Every since my mom and dad told me stories about the queens and kings, I have always wanted to see them and meet them,but I have never thought I would actually be one.

We stayed there until the bright sun thing went away from the opposite direction, making it dark and moon come from the side the sun was in the beginning of the light. It was such a beautiful thing when the sun left and let the moon come out so we could see it after having the sun out for so long. I,guess, the moon got jealous and wanted some time with us too..

"Come on!" Trinity said running away.

I knew it was time,but for some reason I didn't want to leave. It was peaceful. The land was cool and the air was hot making me wet.

I just sighed and ran after my friend.

When I got back home I seen all of my family working and busy getting everything ready for the crowning. It made me excited to know I am going to actually doing this. It was a rare thing occasion or at least that was father told me.

"Honey!" Two voices said making my attention turn to them.

My mother and father were on their tree sitting on one of it's branches. They were snuggled together like always watch all the other helpers do their things. They eyes watching me now instead of them.

"Hello mother..father. How is everything going along?"

"It's good dear. We only have one gift to give you before the Kings am Queens get here." Father said.

"What is it?" I asked eager to know.

She called and some of the animals stopped and went over to my home to retrieve my gift. I sat down watching the little animals helping each other with the flowers. They were all goofing around and still getting there work done but didn't last long with my parents now watching.

I laughed and then gasped at my parents gift.

I stood up looking at the most beautiful thing in the world. It was the lacy stuff other humans wore to cover their beautiful. I loved it.

A dress...well at least, I heard humans passing by the woods say..

"Like it honey?" My father flew to my shoulder and hugged me.

"Yes father ! I love it so much thank you! Where did you find this?" I smiled and kissed his cheek and grabbed my mom and kissed her too.

"It was with you when we found you as a babe and it was beautiful as it is now." They smiled and kissed me and then left me to fix myself.

I walked into my cave and smiled at the the dress and squealed while spinning around in circles. It was soft and perfect and everything! I just thank my real mom for it.

I smiled and water came to my eyes. I knew I wasn't like other girls but this soft stuff on my body was a step towards it. A normal girl with clothes and friends that would laugh and hug you when they hugged you. I want that. I have always wanted that.

"Your sad aren't you?" A voice said making me jump.

I looked over and saw my mother hopping toward my fallen body. She had the look of worry and wetness around her eyes. My heart hurt a little.

" Your going to look beautiful in that,honey." She smiled her smile.

I smiled and wiped away the water from my eyes. "Thank you Mother ." I kissed her head and stood putting on the dress after I took my rags off.

She covered her mouth and flew up to me and hugged me the way she could. She squeaked softly and went back to see all of me. She smiled wildly and flew around me.

" Your so beautiful,sweet heart, your dad will have a big battle with the boys tonight."

"Mom!" I felt heat come to my cheeks at hearing about boys fighting over me. It was embarrassing and she knew it was stop my bad thoughts of a dream that probably wouldn't happen.

"What? Never mind that. We have to go !" She left with a kiss.

I sighed and balled the dress bottom in my hands. It felt weird in my hands but also relieving. It was just me being nervous. I can do this and I will do this..

After that thought,I walked out of my home and into the beautiful lighted night.

The ceremony is in the next chapter promise! And I hopefully won't take forever to update!
