•••••••Two Weeks Later•••••••
It had been two weeks, two weeks and you still couldn't stop thinking about the beautiful stranger you had seen at Starbucks.
Today is Friday and you are at the bar working your job as a server. It's not the best job, as you would rather be writing than serving people who drink way too early in the day. But it a job, and it pays the bills, since you live in an apartment on your own."Hey y/n!" Josie yells while walking over to you.
Josie has been you best friend since you started working at this place. Although most of your co-workers were nice to you, it was the little thing she did like asking how you were feeling every day and trying to cheer you up if you were down, that made you feel like you could trust her.
"How ya, doin today?" She asks
"A little down, that's all."
"Well lucky for you, I know what will cheer you up. WE GOING CLUBBING TONIGHT!" She jumps up and down as she yells.
"Oh no, no you know I don't like going out." You protest
"Y/n!" She whines
"We're going out and I'm not taking no for an answer."
Just then Tom walks over.
"What's this I hear about going out? I'm down!" He says a little to enthusiastically for your liking
"UGH, fine! I'll go, I'll go just stop acting like children." You say rolling your eyes walking away to serve a table.
•••••••At the end of work•••••••
You headed home right at the end of your shift. Mostly because Josie and Tom forced you so you wouldn't be late for tonight. You really didn't want to go tonight, but you know that you wouldn't hear the end of it with Tom and Josie.
You pick out you favorite outfit to feel comfortable in.
"They better not complain about my outfit" you say aloud looking in the mirror one last time before you head downstairs. You grab your keys, and step out the door only to see Tom a Josie there waiting in the car.
"Um, what are you wearing?!" Josie questions.
"I told you guys I didn't want to go, so why would I dress up."
She sighs and rolls her eyes at you as Tom just laughs.
"Fine just get in." She orders
You get in the back seat and Tom drives off toward the club.
•••••••At the club•••••••
You and your friends had been at the club for about 30 minutes now and you were already regretting going. You were standing at the bar drinking while Josie and Tom were on the dance floor having fun. You knew they liked each other and wondered why they haven't gotten together yet.
You look around the rest of the club and your eyes land on the entrance just as someone you thought you'd never see again enters.
You were in shock. Without realizing your mouth hung open.
The multi-colored lights of the club really made his beautiful, smooth, fire truck red skin pop. His green tuft of hair was slicked back, unlike the first day you met him. He was dressed up a little more than that day as well.Just then, his eyes landed on yours and a smile plastered his face. He started walking your way.
