When Mila woke up she saw her cereal in her favorite bowl. Her mom gave her breakfast in bed! She gladly ate the cereal. She changed into a blue and green T-shirt and shorts. She took her backpack and put all her things in it.
She said goodbye to her mom, shook her dad awake told him that he was 1 hour and 24 minutes late for work and said bye to him and listens to him yell at Mila why she hadn't woken him up earlier. She walks up to her bus stop and sits down on the bench. A few minutes later her bus comes up and opens the door for her. She sits down and waits for the bus to go to her friend's bus stop. When Zoey comes and sits with her and they settled down to play a game of chopsticks.
The bus stopped at their school and all the students got off. They sat down in their desk and waited for Ms. Ava to tell them were their trip was today.
"Good morning class," Ms. Ava finally said. She had been thinking for quite a long time.
"Good morning," all the students replied.
"Does anybody know what day it is today?" Ms. Ava asked. All hands were raised. Finally, she picked David, one of James's friends.
"Wednesday," He said.
"Good, good," Ms. Ava said.
"Why do you look so tired?" Mila asked. Ms. Ava gave her a weak smile and said, "I'm okay, just woke up a little late,"
"Oh," Mila replied.
"Today we shall go for a picnic," Ms. Ava announced.
Everybody got their backpacks and went in line. They walked out of the school and went outside. They walked and walked until they found a place that they thought would be a good picnic place. They all sat down and ate until Mila screamed.
