I look into San's eyes Damn his eyes are sexy I think. "Umm...so what're you gonna say?"

I ask, breaking a very awkward silence. "What? Oh yeah, that. Well, I was kinda wondering" he smirks and looks down at the ground "would-would you like to go to prom with me?" He asks, finally looking up. I'm utterly and completly shocked. Sam, the guy who refused to go to prom with me just 72 hours ago. Sam, the boy who was absolutley disgusted with me not that long ago. Sam, the boy who must've had a chnage of heart and asked me out to prom. And finally, Sam, the boy who must not know that I was just asked out by a Puckerman who got me pregnant and went to juvie in the same year.

"Um.." I say, finally starting to catch my breath, "I'd have to think about it" I manage to get out. "Oh, yeah, completly understandable considering I've been a complete jerk to you lately. You can say that again I almost say, but then I choke it down because I don't wanna ruin my chances with a guy I actually really like.

Going to glee would be the awkwardest thing I've ever done. I have two boys staring at me, and I can't even look at either of them just so the other one can't catch me and get suspicious. Even though this is one of the best things to ever happen this could also be one of the hardest. I had no idea how hard it was to feel two guys staring at the back of your neck without being able to do anything. I just prayed that when Sam and Puck found out that they both asked me to prom, I wouldn't be near either of them.

That afternoon, once I got my home I told my mom what happened. "What are you gonna do sweetie?" My mom asks me. "Well, what do you think I should do? Your my mom, can you give me any advice?" I ask, suprised that I had to even ask to get help. "I can't tell you what to do. It's your life, your prom, you can decide." She answers. "'C'mon mom, you've met both of them, can you at least help a little?" I sort of beg. "I'm sorry honey, but I'm not gonna help you throught that one. This exact thing happened with your father." She tells me. "So, basically I'm supposed to do the complete opposite of what you would do" I say. My mom gives me a shocked look, "well, considering how your marriage wound out to be..." I start. "Oh be quiet. Go to your room and think about the prom or whatever." My mom snaps.

Later that night, me and mom sit down for dinner. "I've been thinking about your father." My mom says, startling me. "What about him?" I ask, wanting to have nothing to do with him. "About everything, the wedding, the proposal, our first date, you, your sister, your pregnancy, the tatooed freak, all our fights. Everything." She says. "That man really was a monster in disguise. He was a real jerk." I say, not wanting to say jackass because it might anger my mother. "I couldn't agree more. I always thought something was up when right when I was about to say we should take a break, he would simply say just the right thing" my mom confesses. "When did that happen?" I snap. "Oh several times, we're just really good at hiding things, where do you think the whole hiding-the-pregnancy thing so well came from?" My mom asks, raising an eyebrow. I can't help but giggle. Just then I hear the doorbell ring. "I'll get it" telling my mom, putting my napkin on the table. I open the door and there he is standing
