CHAPTER 2

ATHENA ROSE POV

I’m sat in my agent’s office waiting for him to come in, Tyler walks in followed by another guy
“Athena this is James he is the manager of a band under the name of Why Don’t We, he is here to talk to you about being in one of their music videos.” Tyler tells me “Hi Athena I’m James now the
music video that we are shooting is for the boy’s new song Help Me Help you, you will be expected
to be in a relationship throughout the video with one of the boys it is to be confirmed which one
that is…though” James tells me “how many are there in this band may I ask?” I interrupt James “5
they are actually waiting outside to meet you BOYS come in here” James yells. 5 guys walk into the
office the one at the front has blue eyes, he is followed by one who looks like he is the baby of the
group, the baby of the group is followed by the tallest in the group, he is followed by a guy with curly hair he looks familiar but I say nothing the last one has blonde hair. “Athena these are the Why Don’t We boys, the one with blue eyes is Daniel, the one next to him is Zach he is the baby of the group, the giant is named Jonah, the noodle hair is Jack and the last one is Corbyn” James informs me they all say hi well apart from Corbyn and Jack, Jack is looking at me with a weird look on his face Jack speaks up “do I know you from somewhere?” “unless you grew up in Susquehanna Pennsylvania? no I don’t know you” I say sitting back in my chair “wait I do know you weren’t you that girl that lived next door to me what is your last name?” Jack asks “Hanford the names Athena Rose Hanford” I say “oh my lord Athena it’s me Jack…Jack Avery we lived next door to each other until you moved to LA” Jack says whilst running over to me and pulling me into a hug. “OH MY GOD JACK FUCKING AVERY IT REALLY IS YOU HOW YOU BEEN? HOW’S ISLA HOW IS EVERYONE?” I say as I pull away from the hug. James chirps up “well I guess we have found the guy that you will have a relationship with throughout the music video congratulations Jack we start filming tomorrow” Corbyn finally says something “James why can’t we use Christina you and I both know that she can perform to the camera, we don’t know what this unprofessional model can do” Jack getting defensive “don’t speak about her like she isn’t here Corbyn all because Daniel got hold of Tyler and asked if there was any free models for the music video and he said that there was a perfect one for us doesn’t mean that you have to bitch about not having Christina” Corbyn starts walking towards Jack. Jack pushes me behind him getting ready to defend me at any cost. Corbyn
just says to me “you screw this up your out of this agency do you hear me?” I nod “Okay” Corbyn
walks off.
