Athena Rose POV
I was sitting on the couch watching my two kids playing in the back yard. When Amelia runs in with a smile on her face at that exact moment Corbyn walked through the front door with bags in hand. Colton and Amelia both run over to their father, as the bags land on the floor the kids jump into his arms. I get up off the couch and walk over to the three Corbyn puts Colton and Amelia on the floor he grabs me and pulls me into a hug. Once the kids are sitting at the table with dinner in front of them Corbyn leans against the counter and smiles at me “what now?” I ask with a hint of humour in my voice “nothing I just missed my kids and my wife you got a problem with that?” he responds “So how was the final show?” I say staring to get emotional that Corbyn and the boys all gave up the life of touring just so that they can settle down. “it was hard to say goodbye to all the venues but it’s going to be worth it now that I get to spend time with you and my kids” he smiles. I turn my head to see that Amelia and Colton have finished and are now just talking to each other when Amelia turns to me and says “mom how did you and dad meet?” “That is a story worthy for bed” Corbyn interrupts before I can say a word “I think it’s about time that you two started to get ready for bed don’t you think? All because you father is finally home doesn’t mean that things are changing anytime soon” I say to my now sad twins
The kids are both in their beds snuggled up waiting for us to tell them the story of how I met Corbyn. “so kids let’s start at the beginning” I say.
