Kidnapped? By The Alpha?

Chapter 11

Nathan's Pov

I had lost consciousness when they had gassed me with wolfs bane. And when I opened my eyes, my vision was blurry but I couldn't believe my eyes when I had opened my them.

Evelyn was no longer on her stone table in her cell. The only thing that was left were her chains and her blood which was still fresh.

I blinked and tried to clear my blurry vision but I couldn't seem to. I guess with my wolf being weak, along with the tortures the vampire king had put me through, my healing is extremely slow and in a way, I'm dying.

I won't give up though. I can't leave Evelyn alone and I will not leave my mate alone either. I will hold on. I will get out of here and save Evelyn. 

"Nathan."

I looked up and frowned. It was Kato. 

Which meant that he was near.

"Nathan. You there?"

"Yeah. I'm here." I responded.

Just then a door opened and I watched through blurry vision as blurry figures rushed up and broke down my cell door and up to me. 

"Nathan. Can u hear me?"

Yeah I could hear the voice, but it was echoing and I could barely know who it was coming from. 

I gave a nod and my world spun. 

I had to get out of here. 

"Take it easy, man."

Then there came a pause and the same voice said "Get the chains and wire off. And the oxygen mask. It's making him breathe in wolfs bane."

Mask? Is that what that bastard done to me to make my suffering even more worse?

I felt my chains and wire get removed along with the mask and I coughed as air rushed into my lungs.

"By god, what has that bastard done to you?"

I coughed and the voice said "Help me get him up. We have to get him out of this room. There's wolfs bane in here."

I felt as I was helped up and we left the dungeon. Right away my blurry vision began to leave. 

I was set down against a wall and I saw a blurry figure slowly become less blurry and then blurry again. 

That figure, when it became less blurry, was Kato. 

"Where is--"

"Nathan!!"

I didn't have time to respond as a figure slammed into me and wrapped its arms around me. I growled in pain instead of whimper and breathed in the most heavenly scent. I relaxed as I knew it was Kayla. 

I wrapped my arms around her and I breathed in her scent again and I sighed. I opened my eyes and I looked up at Kato, who was no longer blurry. 

"He must have taken her somewhere in the castle." I said. 

I heard Kato growl and he paused and said "I can smell her scent." 

Kayla helped me up and we went after Kato as he went down the hallway. What concerned me was that there was no blood suckers anywhere. 

We came to a double door and without hesitation Kato smashed the door open and stormed in. 

"Ah. I was worried you wouldn't make it."

I growled lowly as did Kayla as we saw the Vampire King sat in his throne. 

"Where is she?! What have you done with--"
