Kidnapped? By The Alpha?

Chapter 9

Evelyn's Pov

I woke up with a major headache and Kato's hand in mine. Iv and other medical things were in my skin.

Wait a minute. 

Kato's hand was in mine?

"Evelyn."

I looked at him and I saw the relief in his eyes. I raised an eyebrow and he smiled. What on earth was he doing here and why was he smiling? Did he know something I didn't?

"What happened?" I asked.

"You were followed after your dance and a man drugged you and I only wished I had gotten to you sooner before he hurt you." He said.

That's.........that's right.

I remember that man and what he did. 

"Where's Kayla? Is she ok?" I asked.

"Of course you'd ask that. You're the one in a hospital bed. And you're asking how someone else is." Kayla said as she walked in.

"Hey." I said. 

She smiled and she said "Hey yourself."

I smiled and removed my hand from Kato's and I said "Question."

They all looked at me and I said "When can I get the hell out of here?"  

"The doctor said that they're gonna keep you over night just to be safe and you'll be able to go tomorrow morning." Kayla said.

"Screw that. I'm out of here." I said getting up.

Kato looked at me concerned and he said "You need to rest."

I glared at him and I said "I know the drill. You go into the hospital and they contact your parents. And I ain't gonna stick around for that."

Kato looked confused but Kayla knew what I was talking about. She of all people know that them calling my mother is fine but my Father? No. Kayla knows how I feel about my father. 

"I'll rest at home. It's spring break. I have an entire week to rest." I said. 

I got up and felt dizzy but I walked to where a new set of clothes were waiting for me. I glanced at the torn Poison Ivy costume. I felt a tear come up but I brushed it away and went to change. I slipped on my jeans and my shirt and ignored the almost faded bruises.

I was glad to know that the bruises on my neck were fully gone and surprisingly didn't bruise as bad as my arm and sides. 

I stepped out and I said "Kayla let's go home."

She bit her lip and I frowned and she said "Eve, there's something we need to-"

She was cut off when there was a rumble and I said "What was that?"

"ALPHA! I know you're here! Come out here and fight, you coward!! Come out and fight or your beta dies!" A voice somewhere in the hospital called. 

My eyes widened and I heard Kayla gasp and she looked at Kato and then she ran from the room. 

"Kayla! Where are you going?!" I called. 

Kato growled and I looked at him and my eyes widened even more as his once emerald eyes were black and as much as I was frightened, I was somehow drawn to them. 

"Kato?" I asked.

His head snapped to me and I jumped back in fright. If looks could kill, his would do the trick. His face softened right away, and he walked up to me and put an arm around me and tugged me to the window.
