Chapter three

Being in a new environment brings new experience, it been a week since I started working in the teaching hospital am so happy about my job. Working in a hospital as a Biomedical engineer has always been my dream. When i was young, i always admired doctor,nurses and all medical practitioners in general .Growing up I came to realize that I hate to get in contact with blood so I had to quit dreaming of working as a medical practitioner being there means u have to get in contact with blood directly or indirectly.I changed my ambition to engineering and then I discovered biomedical engineering and decided to go for it I would work in the hospital as well as work as an engineer .I was so excited starting my career after my National youth service , so I see this as a dream come true.

I reached my office ,it was quit large and I arranged everything to my taste . with my bookshelf at the right angle , I had a TV set facing visitors couch and my desk was at the left angle everything was just perfect the way I wanted it to be. I kept my bags to start work for the day ,immediately I got a call that we will be having some work in the radiological department. some of the machines are having problem ........... Even though I have never been there, but I always knew it to be one of the departments that has it students practicing using there machines so much. Definitely it going to be having problems often .......I just pray there are no clinging gals there.

I made it to the hospital on time I was just hoping the work load there is less because I wasn't feeling too well .

Luck was not on my side today there was a lot of work to do and we were very few of my colleagues there.

I did a little work but the fever was increasing so I signed out and left to meet my besties before heading home , i met them in the radiological department ,they were just chatting because some engineers were fixing some machines , i just greeted them and told i was having fever so i headed home to have some rest.

Its been a week and I am feeling
Better although I have been missing most of my clinical postings due to severity of the fever it was always headache, high temperature ,loss of appetite finished my medications ,so i was at school for lectures today. the first semester exams is fast approaching so I need to start preparing for it.

After the lectures we had a good time with my friends , U know ladies talk........ often about boyfriends.
Matu "how is Aliyu its been long since I haven't seen him for long " asked bilkisu . I don't know ! I replied what do you mean you don't know.......... Well he's been giving me attitude earlier, but I would find time to sought things out I said with a blank expression.

I know u love him so much ,u should sought it out I don't like seeing you sad hayrat spoke ..........hey bestie am not sad is just that I hate it when am being ignored ,anyways this is not important now you know were about to start exams so let's prepare first everything else should continue after the exams.
Even though deep down my heart I know I am hurt. With every difficulties comes ease.

Boring chapter right .
Its going to be more interesting.
