Chapter Nine

Kim Namjoon's POV

I walk down the hallway of our dorm to the end where the mini studio is and find it locked. Jungkook must still be in there. I knocked on the door but there was no answer so I got the spare key for the room and unlocked it.

I wasn't that suprised to see Jungkook there but he was sleeping with his head lying on the top of the chair.

I walk towards him quietly contemplating on whether I should wake him up or not. That's when I notice the papers scattered on the table in front of him. I picked them up and read over them smiling. 

So he was working on a song...  

I took pictures of the music and lyrics as an idea flew into my head. An idea that could bring the two maknaes closer together.

I walked quietly back out of the room letting Jungkook sleep some more and luckily didn't trip or break anything this time. Unlike that time with Jin... He looked so beautiful then and I think he becomes even more beautiful each day... Aish Namjoon now is not the time to think about how beautiful Jin is.

I started heading to Jimin and Taehyung's room knowing what I need wasn't far from reach. I knocked on the door and was met with silent yet again.. wow why doesn't anyone want to freaking answer their doors.. oh maybe they're asleep?

I opened the door to their room and saw both Jimin and Taehyung asleep. I mentally flicked my forehead for being a little pabo. I tip-toed in  carefully making sure not to touch anything but unfortunately luck wasn't on my side as I bumped into Taheyung's desk causing a loud thump.

I cursed and turned to look at the two who were sleeping before but saw Jimin awake.

"Hyung what the hell are you doing?" I sighed in relief just remembering that Taehyung was a deep sleeper at times.

"Nothing Jiminie, don't mind me, Just go back to sleep or something" I smiled at him before turning back around to Taehyung's desk. I went through his notebooks and pieces of paper for a while before coming across to the thing I was looking for.

I smiled as I took pictures of Taehyung's song that he had written a week or two back before I heard 'tsk' sounds. I looked back at Jimin who was shaking his head and giving me weird looks.

I practically sprinted back to mine and Hoseok's room since those looks Jimin gave me weirded  me out a bit.

As soon as I got back to the safety of my own room I started writing down the songs that the two maknaes had written and started mixing them together.

My idea was that if Manager hyung agreed then this song, that came from two different songs written by lovers, would be performed by the two to bring them closer together and (J)hopefully make the both of them realise each other's feelings.

(Time skip: Next day)

I walked into the meeting room with our Manager, this is the meeting that I was going to show the song the two maknaes had written and then see if they can perform it together. 

We started talking as soon as we sat down and I explained the two songs Jungkook and Taehyung had written and how if they performed this song it would give them a chance to work everything out and bring them closer together.

Our manager looked at me after I finished explaining everything and then gave me a smile. He nodded and said they can practice the song and perform at Music Bank next week. Bts' manager was secretly a very big Taekook shipper and wanted to help them be brought closer together.

I really hoped this with help the Taekook couple. I also hope the fans will be accepting and supportive.

As I made my way back to the dorm after the meeting I realised I'm a big idiot. How the hell am I going to explain this to everyone? Aish... Namjoon come on, use your brain for once will you. Okay this is fine I'll just be straight-forward to everyone and hope for the best?

As I entered the dorm I found all the members in the living room already which made it easier at least. I stood in front of everyone at the front of the room and cleared my throat. They were all walking some movie so I turned it off making them annoyed a little. Must have been a good movie..

After a bit of complaining from Hoseok and Jimin their attention was on me and I gulped scratching the back of my neck a little.

"Well everyone I have an announcement to make..." They all nodded their heads telling me to go on. I looked over from Taehyung to Jungkook... I didn't know what their reactions would be.

"Well I kind of read over the songs both Taehyungie and Jungkookie wrote and I well mashed them together into a duet piece.. uh well then I showed our Manager and he also thought it would be a good idea for the two maknaes to perform next week after our DNA performance at Music Bank." I said quickly but slow enough that everyone understood me and I wouldn't have to repeat myself.

Everyone looked at me with big eyes, where as Taehyung and Jungkook both had unreadable expressions on their faces.

I scratched the back of my neck again nervously, will the maknaes agree to do this?

"Okay" 

"Okay"

There was two small okays heard from the silent room and I breathed a sigh of relief. At least they agreed to it.

Taehyung had composed himself a little more but the shock could still be noticed on him where as Jungkook was biting his lip looking from the ground to Taehyung. I hope they can take this opportunity to strengthen their bond and become closer to one another, even maybe finally confess their feelings to the other...
