Jeon Jungkook's POV
"Angel..." I whispered to myself smiling as my eyes glued onto Taehyung's figure. He looked so gorgeous and angelic right now and I couldn't take my eyes off of him.
My attention was sort of averted by the sign one of the staffs gave that we were to go on stage now, I let out a nervous sigh before taking another look to where Taehyung was standing.
"Hwaiting Kookie!!" Tae mouthed to me giving me his famous box smile before walking onto the stage, I followed a step behind him.
The lights on the stage dimmed as I had stopped in the middle of the stage while Taehyung stopped near the edge but he was still seen on stage.
Soft piano music started playing through the speakers making the music reach the back of the crowds at Music Bank and everyone was silent, they knew it wasn't a upbeat and happy bop, they knew it was a slower and more emotional ballad.
I held my mic up and opened my mouth
"For you I could pretend like I was happy even when I was sad,
For you I could pretend like I was strong even when hurt real bad..."
Kim Taehyung's POV
His voice was low and emotional, I hadn't really heard him sing like this before but I definitely liked it, no I definitely loved it.
"Surely in a distant place, you are waiting for me,
Coming for me, to fetch me, oh oh oh..."
Jungkook I've been waiting for you for 5 years, I think its been enough time wasted now...
"If I had just a little more courage,
and stood before you..."
I sung next using my deep voice, I laced all my emotions into the words I sung throughout this performance, I am doing a duet with Jungkook, the one I've loved for so long, I am not messing this up.
"Would everything be different now?
I wish I was holding you by my side..."
Jungkook turned his head towards me as I started walking towards him, I stopped halfway, my heart was beating so fast I don't think I'm ready...
"Wherever our tomorrow takes us,
Time will pass by tediously.
I can't show you my weaknesses,
So I'm putting on a mask to go see you..."
Jungkook gave me a supportive half smile when he saw panic run over my face, he nodded and it calmed me down. Jungkook was here, he was here and that's all that matters...
"I'm falling deeper in love,
Everything that you are is all I'm dreaming of"
I never broke mine and Jungkook's eye contact so I didn't notice the audience in front of us, they all had the flashlights on their phones out and were moving them all at one time.
"I wish love was perfect as love itself,
Love it's so mad, love it's so mad.."
I gave him a small smile as we both opened our mouths to sing together in a higher tone then the start of the song.
"You know that I can't show you me, give you me...
I wish all my weaknesses could be hidden and kept...."
"Love you so bad"
"Love you so bad"
"Goodbye, so that we can embrace each other again...
I grew a flower that cant be bloomed in a dream that cant ever come true
But I still want you..."
I do still want you Kookie, I've always wanted you, always loved you and I always will...
As a shimmery dark blue and silver light focused on the two of us it looked as if we were floating in a sky where day and night crashed together and met for the first time.
I held my hand out towards Jungkook for him to take, he looked me in the eye again and took my hand clasping them together. I in-twined them before bring my mic up to my lips
"Why you so sad, I don't know, I don't know..."
"Smile and say I love you to me..."
I closed some distance between us and rested my forehead against Jungkook's as we both sung. Our eyes closed at the same time as we started singing.
"It's you, It's you, It's you.... ohh woah ohh...
Falling head over heels, for you...
I'd give up everything just for you...
It's you, It's you... It's you...."
As I lifted my head up an inch I opened my eyes to see Jungkook already looking at me, Right now in this very moment I felt free, I felt as long as I have Jungkook with me I can do anything, be anyone, do what I want to do, be who I want to be.
"I love you" I say truthfully not wanting to hold back my feelings any longer. I gave Jungkook an unsure smile as he blinked.
"I love you too" He says just as my mind was about to start breaking. He gives me his adorable bunny tooth smile and in return I give my cute box smile everyone loves.
Jungkook's eyes flicker down to my lips for a second and I knew what he wanted so I didn't hesitate.
With all the love and passion I had I captured his lips with my own and cupped his cheek with my left hand while my right still held my mic.
The fireworks and explosions I heard and felt as I kissed Jungkook drowned out all the screaming, cheering and fangirling/fanboying that the audience was giving to us.
Author's POV
The other five Bangtan members were are smiling like the supportive and loving brothers they are as their OTP finally happened.
Even J-Hope and Jimin were shedding a few tears and that wasn't just because of the song the Taekook couple had recently performed.
As Taehyung and Jungkook broke apart from their kiss for some air the smiles on their face never left.
As long as they were together, nothing could stop them or tear them apart.
Not even death would be able to keep them apart, for their love was the strongest and most unbreakable relationship anyone in the universe had ever seen.
