Reign POV-

Wait what did he just say. Mate. No. No witch has ever had a mate. This can't be right.

'Are you going to tell me your name?' He looked down on me. I wasn't small, i was about 5'10 which is quite tall be he was about 6'3 and lumbered over me. 

'You- mate-name um - mate?' I said quite stupidly.

'Yes beautiful, you are my mate wait you are human aren't you' He smiled at me.

'Me human, wait yes sorry, I'm human it's just your Prince Cayden and i'm just a lawyer here for the paperwork.' I fumbled

'Well actually i'm king Cayden now, the coronation part is over but everyone is still out celebrating i thought i would just come inside for a peace and i'm so glad i did'

'Oh but i can't be your mate'

'you are though gorgeous, now what is your name?' He came closer to me and i could feel his hot breath fanning on my neck.

'Reign Thomson' I said sticking to my fake id normally we kept our first name but changed our last so people didn't accidentally get confused and say the wrong name. 

'Reign' He purred my name. 'what a beautiful name fit for such a beautiful woman, now reign how old are you/'

'20 what about you?'

'23, where are you from?'

'Um somewhere quite far i will have to go back soon'

'What do you mean go back' He growled 'You will stay here with me, you will be a Queen'

'No, no i have to go back to get my belongings' I said i needed to get back to base i had to tell the others

'Ok i will come with you'He stated

'No you can't' I said a little to quickly 'You are a king you cannot leave your people, i live far away. I will come back do not worry'

'I cannot let you go i just found you, i have been searching for you for so long. I also cannot lave my people the day after becoming King. tomorrow evening. You have until tomorrow evening to get your belongings and come back to castle otherwise i will search this entire planet looking for you. Take this' He handed me a necklace with a crescent moon pendant on it 'When you come back give this to a guard they will lead you to me'

I nodded, he grabbed me a gave me and massive hug inhaling my scent. 'Please come back' he muttered so quietly I almost didn't hear him. i smiled at him before turning away.

'Goodbye my love i will see you very soon' he said as i left the room.

Ok i said in my head. Calm down Reign. Once i was definitely out of Cayden range i tried to contacted Kai.

'kai, Kai' I hissed down the mic.

'What' he said with a bored tone.

'im his mate, im Caydens mate' I said

'wait what, your his mate. How? What the fuck, oh my. You are that things mate' He yelled back

'yes now get me out here' I said back

'Ok'

1 hour later

I arrived at the base and was dragged into the elder room which now consisted of a large table with the 5 elders around it. 3 general and Kai. I sat down in the spare seat, Immediately i was bombarded with questions.
