Reign POV-

The next day came faster than i expected.  I was summoned to the elder room. There was only one elder present. A woman with dark green hair and bold red lips. She was wearing an emerald green dress that reached the floor.  

'Here'  She handed me the necklace 'You will need this'

I gripped onto the necklace. She motions for me to follow her.

'This is a ring carved with a special stone. The stone was spilt into two it is known as a twin stone. The twin stone can communicate with each other whenever needed. We have bewitched the stone so that when you need to communicate with us we will know. The stone has been made into two rings one for me and one for you. When you need us the ring will let me know. As long as you wear the ring your scent will be hidden form them. Never take the ring off.' The elder looked at me as she placed the ring onto my finger.

'It's beautiful' I gasp

The elder smiles 'Get changed and be ready we will levae at noon'

I ran to my room and deciding what to wear was a nightmare. Eventually i settled on a black dress. It was a simple but pretty dress and i wore the necklace on top of it.

I heard the door of my room open. Kai stood in the doorway.

'Leave me alone Kai' I mutter just loud enough for him to hear me. 

'Please Reign stay' His voice was hoarse.

I heard him enter my room. He came closer to me.

'Kai get out' I said my voice getting louder.

'Please' I could smell alcohol on his breath as he spoke

'Kai-' I was stopped by him smashing his lips against me. Tried to pry him off but he was stringer than me.  I rose my hands and his body was thrown off mine. My power radiated from my hand as i placed y hands either side of his head. He began to thrash and scream in pain.

'Goodnight Kai' I said as his body went limp.

I dragged his unconsciousness body down the hall and left him at Diamonds doorstep. He's her problem i thought. I fixed my outfit as i walked down the corridor towards the base. 

once i arrived at the base everyone except Kai from the original meeting was there. They all wish me good luck in turn and i enter a SUV. It's now or never.

1 hour later

Once we finally reached the castle the nerves began to settle in. I walked out of the car and approached two guards at the castle entrance. 

'what do you want' The one on the left asks

I present my necklace and their eyes widen. '10th floor' the one of the left tells me as the open the palace doors for me.

I remember entering the castle before but the decorations have changed instead of the large dining tables the space was mostly empty except for a row of beautiful chairs and in the middle of them two massive thrones. I remembered were the elevator was and it opened when i approached it. Inside was a woman about my age. She was beautiful with long blonde hair and perfectly tanned skin. She smiled at me as i walked.

'what floor?' She asked me

'Floor 10' i said 

'I'm Princess Arabella, you can call me Bella for short' she smiled at me

'Reign' I said

'oh my gosh, You are my brothers mate' She smiled gushing at me. 'you are just as beautiful as he said'

'thank you' I said

'He only told a few people like his best friends me and my younger brother, who is 18' She grabbed my hands 'He didn't even tell mother and father but i can't believe he let you leave. But i am so happy don't get me wrong i love my little sis but she is only 10 so we don't always have much to talk about.' The elevator opened cutting her off.

In-front of me stood Cayden. He smiled at me before devouring me in a hug. 

'Your back' He kept repeating into my hair

'She is stunning like you said' I heard Bella say.

'she is' Cayden said as he clutched my hand and whisked me away.

I knew i would never get used to the sparks i felt but i would not let my self have feelings for him. Yes i thought he was attractive but that was were it ended. Lust not love. Never love. Love means you feel pain when they leave, one day i plan on leaving and re-uniting with my people. He may love me but it would be a one way situation i promised myself as we walked.

He opened the doors into a massive room painted royal blue. A huge bed was against the far wall and pictures of him and some friends covered some of the left wall. The right wall had several doors leading out of it. a huge rug lined the wooden floor and a couch with a tv and minibar was at the left corner. 

'Woah' I murmured

He chuckled and lead me to the couch.

'Reign i want to get to know you' He said looking into my eyes

'Ok then what do you want to know?' I felt like a dumpling talking to this Greek god and not the good kind.

'Ok lets play 21 questions' He said. A bit cliche i thought

'I'll start' He said 'Have you ever had a boyfriend'

'yes, whats your favourite animal?'

'Wolf, what's your favourite food?'

'Pizza, do you believe in witches?' As soon as the question left my mouth i stared cursing myself. How could i be so stupid. what if he realises.

He looked me. 'What do you know about witches?' He said leaning closer to me.

'Not much i have heard rumours bout them. I just wondered do you think they still exist' I said i knew i had to stop talking about this topic of conversation but i couldn't i needed to know.

'They did exist a long time ago but not anymore my love' He said lifting my chin up.

or so he thought.

Idk about this chapter but it shows the wolves perspective of this witches. Sorry i haven't updated in so long :)
