Greg POV>>>>>
Ok ok so before you start judging me for not being here for her let me explain what happened. I think I should start with how did I meet her mother, well in highschool I had twins by this girl named Katt and we were just friends with benifits, one was a boy and one was a girl but I didn't know they were my kids because Katt slept around with some other guy almost a week before we fucked and I didnt find out til a month later. So when I found out about it I broke it off with her and started dating Roychelle and we were happy for a good 7 months and thats when Katt told her to stay away from me because I was her baby's daddy and almost a week later she found out she was 8 weeks pregnant and told me about it and I panicked and left because i remembered we used a condom and it broke but I kept going and didnt tell her because got caught in the moment and she was enjoying it too much and I knew she would hate me for it so I denied the baby and hadn't talked to Roychelle since then. I was at the twins Jesse and Jessica's birth and we immediately got a paternity test and it came out positive so I went to the courthouse and signed both of the birth certificates. I decided to not go to leah's birth because I knew Roychelle wouldn't let me sign the birth certificate because I wasn't there for the pregnancy. So a few years later me and Katt get married and and go on about there life's and almost 14 years later here we are. Me and Katt have been arguing because of all the other kids i have and I realized I haven't even seen my daughter because of Katt so i hit up Roychelle and asked her bout Leah and so told me alot about her and I asked if I could meet her and she said sure so now im here looking at my 19 year old daughter that actually acts like me and looks exactly like how her mother did when I met her. Only thing I can tell is different about them is the fact that her hair is longer than her mothers was. Other than that its like looking at my high school sweetheart once again.
"How about we go out somewhere like the mall after dinner?" I asked and the girls looked at me with the most excitement it their eyes and Tj just put his face in his palms shaking his head. Did I say somthing wrong?
We finish eatting just having small talk and catching up then we cleaned up and walked outside.
"Who's car are we taking?" Tianna asked.
"We can take my truck it has more than enough space for us and all yall bags." Tj offered. "Were gonna need all the space we can get." he whispered too me. Well damn.
We agreed to the truck so Tj got in the very impressive Lamborghini and drove off down the street.
Leah POV>>>>
So while Tj went home to switch cars we all chose to sit on my mom's back porch and sit around the pool and talk some more. "So Leah, Tj seem like a good guy how did yall meet?" my dad asked. "We went to the same school and started dating the end of freshman year." I said smiling at the thought.
"Oh, well does he treat you right" "yes he does he treats me like a queen and always respects me." "Well thats really good, so have you graduated yet or are you graduating soon?"
"I graduated last May." "Oh what college are you going to?" And then mom and Tianna stopped talking and just fell silent and looked at me.
"I'm not going to college." "What do you mean your not going to college what is it you want to be in life?" "Well im not going to college because me and Tj are the leaders of the biggest gang in Texas." I said
After those words left my mouth Tj walked out and immediately felt the tension. "Uhh did I miss something?" "No hun you didn't." I shot him a warning smile and he quickly pulled me into the kitchen with him without a word. "What happened?"
"He asked about us graduating and I told him we already did and he was like so what college do I want to go to and I told him we were in a gang and ran it then you walked in." I said in a single breath.
He began pacing back and forth looking at the ground getting more and more nervous by the second. "Ok how about we just not tell him anything else about the gang til we fully trust him. I kinda have a bad vibe about this." That was not the response I was expecting is this nigga on some new meds I should know about? "Uhh ok then what if he ask about more?" Then he looked at me with the straightest face I have seen in a long time "Leah I dont care if he is your father dont say a word around him understand?" Well then "Damn sir yes sir." I saluted with a small laugh.
"Alright bae come on." Then he pecked my lips and we joined the others in the front yard. We all piled into the metallic escalade. Tj and I were in the front with him driving and momma Greg and Tianna in the back seat.
Roychell's POV>>>>>
As we were driving Greg started talking "So leah...." lord pls dont let this man ask her bout the gang shit "....do you ever plan on leaving the gang and making a real life for yourself?" Dammit. "Greg, Leah doesn't really like to talk about the gang with people she barley knows." I cut him off just before he was going to ask another question. "Well im different im her father I deserve to know this about my daughter." "Well all do respect Mr. Palely you did just show up out of nowhere after 19 years of her life." Tianna chimed in.
Leah just sat silently and Tj would glance at her out the side of his eyes to be sure she was ok. "Well tianna does have a point." "Ok ok I will lay off the gang related questions... For now." Less than 5 mins later we park in a spot next to a handicap spot and walk in the huge mall.
Leah POV >>>>>>>>>>
"Where should we go first?" "Footlocker because its the closest" Tj said excitedly and anxious "No you said Footlocker because you want your boy to hook you up with the new Future Flight Remixes that haven't even come out yet." "You don't know that." He said with a pouty attitude. "Actually I do because Footlocker is on the other side of the mall and those shoes were all you talked about all week." "Aye dont nobody like a smartass leah." "But you love this smartass" I said as I gave him a peck.
"We should go to H&M first." Said my mom she is in love with that store.
After about half an hour the cashier was ringing up our stuff and when she was half way done we had 1 bag each.
"Ok well that will be $632 total." she said with a perky smile. I smiled back and was pulling out my black card when somebody put there card down first. "I'll pay for it." Greg said as he smiled at me then at the cashier. "Thank you have a nice day." she said as we were leaving to go to another store.
"Greg thank you but you didnt have to do that for us I could have paid for it." I explained "Dont worry about it your my daughter and I promised myself I would give all my kids the world."
So after that we hit up Lids, Spencers, Hot Topic, Forever 21, Icing, Bath and Body Works, Ulta, American Eagle, Hollister, Aeropostale, Journey's, Macy's, Dillard's, Footlocker, and then we ran out of body parts to hold the all bags so we put all the bags in the trunk and in the back seat and piled into the truck.
"Shit my feet are killing me!" Tianna damn near yelled. "Girl me too but you got to admit this is the best workout you can get but when we get home we have to separate everything since they all pretty much only separated buy stores." Note to self I be dammed if I wear red bottoms if imma be runnin round the mall like the fuckin energizer bunny on crack this shit killin my feet!
"Ha ha told ya'll bout getting all worked up over shoes and purses and clothes like damn." Tj teased "Well damn yall could win the Olympics with all that runnin yall did i can only imagine how it would be without the heels." Greg said with a surprised look.
"Well what did you expect one is my daughter and the other is my niece." Finally we got home and me Tianna and my mom all sat down in the living room and started going thought everything
