Hayes' POV

We walked upstairs and went through the hall past skylynns room. "Hayes!" She ran to me. She hugged my leg and wouldn't let go. Olivia was laughing as I tried to shake off Skylynn. "Whats the magic word?" She giggled. "Horses" I sighed. "Okay!" She let go. "Is this your girly friend Hayes? He's really pretty!" I look at Olivia and I can tell she's really happy. "This is Olivia, she lives next door" I greeted her. "Okay I'm gonna play horses" Skylynn ran off. "Yeah that's Skylynn" we both laughed. I opened my door and turned on my light. "Woah" Olivia said. "Your room is huge" she kept looking around. I smiled at her as she looked so happy. She sat on my bed criss cross and I sat I front of her and then I heard a knock on my door. "Ugh" I laid back on my bed. "Don't ugh me" my mom walked in. She put a basket of my clothes down beside my closet. "Hang these up" she said. She looked at me and looked at Olivia. "You must be our neighbor" she put her hand out for Olivia to shake it. "I'm Hayes' mother but please, call me Elizabeth" she smiled. "I'm Olivia" she shook my moms hand. "I'll be downstairs making lunch" she said and walked out. "Sorry about that" I scratched the back of my head. "No it's fine she seems cool" Olivia said. "Not really" we both laughed. I shut my door and locked it so no one can bother us. I sat back down in front of Olivia but even closer. I took her hand and placed it in mine. "You're so beautiful" I looked in her eyes. I kissed the tip I her nose and pulled her on to my lap. "What do you want to do?" She asked. "I don't know. Whatever you want to do" I said. She put my forehead against mine. "We can" Olivia looked around. "We can get to know each other more" I suggested. "Umm sure" she laid back and I laid next to her.

Olivia's POV

"So my dad became a drug addict and an alcoholic when I was 9. Then he left my mom and I with little money. A year later that's when, you know, this happened" I pulled up my sleeve to reveal my scars."I joined a new school since we moved here and I got bullied and everything got worse so I cut and starved myself about everyday. Then summer came and I've been kinda better being away from everyone, and then I met you" I said with a tear running down my cheek. Hayes wiped it away with his thumb and kissed my cheek. "I'm sorry for everything you've been through" he sat up. I sat up with him and rested my head on his shoulder. "I love you Olivia" he said. "I love you too" I smiled.

Hayes' POV

"I love you Olivia" I said. "I love you too" she replied. I'm glad I met her. I don't know what I would do without her. She means everything to me and I can't stand to see her this hurt. I wrapped my arms around her waist and rocked back and forth. "Maybe Nash and Cam can take us to the movies" I suggested. "Can we go see the fault in our stars?" She jumped up. "Please please please!" She begged. "Fine" I laughed a little. "Thank you I love you so much!" She jumped on me and attacked me with kisses. I laughed and kissed her back. "But first I'm gonna go home and get ready" she laughed because she was only wearing her bathing suit with a cover up. I needed to get ready too so I let her go home. I asked Nash if we could go and he didn't mind.

Olivia's POV

I got home and quickly changed into

Light pink high waisted shorts, a white crop top with a pink bow on it and my black vans. I did my regular makeup and went downstairs. I grabbed my phone and left a note on the counter.

I walked over to Hayes' house and he was waiting with Nash and Cameron on the porch. "Hey beautiful" he smiled at me. "Stop saying that" I laughed. "It's true" he kissed my cheek. He put his arm around my waist and we walked to Nash's car. "What movie are y'all going to see?" Nash asked. "The fault in our stars" I yelled overly excited. "We'll drop you guys off while cam and I go to the store and get stuff for a YouTube video" he said. "Okay" I said. We got in the car and drive off.

I rested my head on my hand and looked out the window. I looked at the sky and everything in it. I laughed slightly as I watched two birds fight each other. I felt a head on my shoulder as I kept watching the sky. "Having fun?" Hayes whispered in my ear. He sat up and I looked at him. I giggled and rolled my eyes.

We pulled up at the movie theaters and went to get our tickets. We waited in line for the popcorn and sat down on the bench because we had a lot of time and didn't want to watch the trailers. "Were gonna go the store now. Try not to fuck each other while were gone" Nash said and Cameron winked at both of us. I threw a piece of popcorn at them and looked at the time. "I guess it's time to go in" We got up and went to room 4 playing "The Fault In Our Stars". The movie started about 5 minutes after we walked in.

---middle of movie---

"The marks humans leave are too often scars" the movie spoke out.

It hit me. I slumped down in my seat a little bit and Hayes grabbed my hand. He kissed it and held on to it tightly. I rest my head on his shoulder and he rests his head on top of mine. I shiver a little because the feeling of having Hayes hold you, and never wants to let go, gives you this tingly feeling inside. Actually I was just cold. "Do you want my jacket?" He whispers. He takes it off and gives it to me before I could say anything. I put it on and it was warm and smelt like Hayes. "Thanks" I slightly laugh. He puts his arm around me as we watch the rest if the movie.

"I'll call Nash and tell him it's over" Hayes said and pulled out his phone. I turned on my camera and had mascara smudged. "Wow I look like crap" I laughed. "No you don't" Hayes laughed too. I wiped from under my eyes and tried to get it all off. By the time I finished, Cameron and Nash pulled up and we walked to their car. Nash rolled down the window and yelled "DID YOU GET THE D OLIVIA?" Cameron was dying of laughter while Hayes looked pissed. We got in the car and they were still laughing but Hayes and I.

"Just drive home" Hayes said. I look up at him and he's smiling. I lean against the window again and watch everything around me.
