Walk down memory lane and broken ankles

We got back at Hayes' by 6 and they invited us to stay the night. And by us I mean Cameron and I. We had nothing to do so Hayes and I went on a walk and took his and Nash's penny board so we have two. He showed me how but all I did was stand on it and slightly move. I laughed as I kept loosing my balance and then I hopped off. "Like this" he said and got on the penny board. He pushed off with his left foot and I tried to copy him. I went a few feet and kept wobbling. I almost slipped when I felt Hayes' hands on my waist catching me. "I got you" he smiled. I kissed his nose and went back to penny boarding. After a few times I got the hang of it but I mean I wasn't the best at it like Hayes. We rode down to the park and we sat our stuff down on the ground by the swings and sat for a little.

"I used to always come here when I was younger. I told my mom I was running away from home when I got mad at her but I only came down here and sat in this exact swing" I sighed swaying back and forth, leaning my head against the rope thats holding the swing. "Yeah I would climb that tree and carve stuff into it" Hayes smiled. "Well let's go" I jumped up and went to the tree. Hayes gave me a boost and I made it to the first branch. I was always terrified of heights so I went really slow. A few more branches up Hayes started to follow behind me. We sat on the same branch and looked at his carvings. "I would come up here with Nash sometimes too" he said and pointed at the carving that had two stick people marked "N" for Nash and "H" for Hayes. I laughed at his carvings from when he was little. He's so cute when he's really focused. Especially in those carvings. It's like a walk down memory lane when I sat in that swing and he's admiring his carvings. I look down to see how far we up and I immediately look away. "You okay?" He put his arm around my waist. "Yup just hate heights" I tried not to look down. "I'm here with you baby" he hugged me tight. He leaned in and smashed his lips into mine. Lasted for about 6 seconds until we heard voices. "Achoo" Nash fake sneezed. "Bless you" cam said. "Achoo" Nash sneezed again. "Umm bless you" cam looked back at Nash. "Achoo" Nash sneezed once again. "I'm not blessing you no more" cam said and walked away. I can tell they were making a vine.

"Hold up I think that's Hayes and Olivia in the tree" Nash whispers. He's a bad whisperer. Hayes was trying not to laugh when his phone fell out of his back pocket. "CRAP" he yelled. "HEY WATCHA DOIN UP THERE?" Cam yelled. "YOU GETTIN SOME OLIVIA?!" He screamed again. Hayes went down the tree but I laughed too hard that had to hold onto a tree branch from falling. "Sorry for interrupting your session" they both winked at me. I covered my mouth but lost balance and fell off of the branch.

I look up and see Cameron holding me bridal style. I guess he caught me. Praise him. He put me down and they walked off leaving me and Hayes. "I'm really sorry Olivia" Hayes looks at me. "You apologize a lot, there's nothing to be sorry about" I laughed. "Well sorry for being a protective boyfriend" he said and realized what he said. "Whatever Grier" I took his SnapBack and put it on backwards. I ran to the penny boards and started strolling down the street. "They see me rolling, they hating" I did the rock and roll sign. Hayes laughed at me and rode next to me. "You're something special Reed" he smiled. I got out my phone and took a picture of Hayes and I doing the rock and roll sign. I decided to post on Instagram and I captioned it "thugs on the loose w/@hayes_instagram". I put my phone in my pocket and we rode back to the house.

Nash's POV

We got Hayes' phone when it fell from the tree and we went through it. Obviously the password was Olivia. We went on his notes and saw a huge paragraph titled "❤️ Olivia ❤️

"Dude he's obsessed with Olivia" I showed Cam. "Are you going through Hayes' phone again?" My mom asked looking through her coupon book. "Yep" I kept scrolling. "Give it" She snapped. "Why?" I laughed. "You wouldn't want anyone going through your phone would you?" She said. "Aha nope" I said and gave her his phone. "Thank you" she said and started looking through his phone. "Hypocrite" I mumbled. "What'd you say?" She asked. "I said, umm, i have a zit" me and cam ran upstairs to my room.

Hayes' POV

We walked in my house to Nash saying "I have a zit". Yeah that's nice. "Hayes here is your phone, Nash and Cameron were going through it" she said and tossed my phone to me. Luckily, I caught it and we went up to my room. "Hayes you're back with Olivia!" Skylynn squealed. "Want to help me build a princess Lego house for my horsies?" She jumped up and down. I looked at Olivia and she said "sure"

We went into skylynns bright pink room and she poured out the Legos. "You and Olivia start building the house and I'll go get all my horsies!" She was excited.

We looked at the instructions to build the house and finally got it together. "Yay! Thank you poobear!" She ran up to my leg. Olivia was laughing at me. "Thank you too Olivia!" She hugged Olivia's leg and she went off to play. We went into my room and Keeda was on my bed.

He jumped off and attacked me. I picked him up and sat on my bed. "This is keeda" I said. "He's cute" Olivia smiled. I set him down and he ran all over the bed. "Watch this" I said and grabbed the tennis ball by my nightstand. Keeda immediately stopped running and sat still. I threw the ball in the air and he jumped off the bed doing a flip, landing on the ground. "Oh my gosh" Olivia was surprised. "That's all he really does" I sat back down. "It's cool considering how fat he is" we both laughed. "What do you want to do?" I asked. "Whatever, it doesn't matter" "I'll teach you more tricks on the penny board" I stood up and grabbed her hand. We grabbed the penny boards and left outside. I also grabbed the ramp from the garage and we went in the street.

Olivia's POV

Hayes set up the ramp and he told me what to do. "When you're in the air, grab the bottom of the board and lean to one side. It makes you spin around in the air" he said and backed up from the ramp. He skated to the ramp and turned in the air and successfully landed it. "Wanna try?" He asked. "Sure" I put the penny board down. I skated up the ramp but couldn't turn and I landed on my ankle. "Olivia are you okay?" Hayes rushed over to me. He looked really scared. "I'm fine" he helped me up but I couldn't walk. "Do you need to go to the doctor?" He carried me inside. "Hayes I'm fine" then I suddenly felt a sharp pain from my ankle, shooting up my leg. "Ow" I kept mumbling. "I'm gonna get Nash and Cameron" he set me on the couch. I couldn't feel anything in my right foot. "She's on the couch" I heard Hayes say. They came downstairs and helped me up. "Can you walk?" Nash asked. "I can't feel anything" I assured him. Cameron picked me up and carried me to Nash's truck. He set me down in the back and I took of my vans. I looked at my ankle and it was purple and swollen. I put my sock back on but kept my shoe off. "Prop your foot up" Hayes said and propped it in his lap.

We got to the hospital and we waited in the waiting room.because that's why it's called a waiting room. It's a room, that you wait in. It felt like my whole foot fell off. They finally called us in and I sat on the little bed in the doctors office. "Explain to me how this happened" the doctor took out his clipboard. "We were just penny boarding and she fell off of the ramp onto her ankle" Hayes answered for me. "I'll take her to get it x-rayed, you all can wait in here" the doctor gave me a wheelchair. He rolled me into the room and took pictures of my ankle in different angles. (See what I did there?) He rolled me back into the room with everyone else and said he'll go get the x-rays.

He came back with the x-rays and told us everything. "She twisted her ankle pretty bad and will need to have it wrapped up for 3 weeks. You can wear shoes on that foot just make sure it's not as tight as the other one and that it's loose. You'll use crutches and no running around. Any questions?" He said. We all shook our heads and he took out the bandage wrap stuff. He wrapped my ankle pretty tight and went to go get my crutches. He came back and handed them to me. "You're all free to go" he smiled. "Don't forget your appointment in a week" he reminded.

I got in the car with some help and texted my mom what happened. "Do you need me to skip work tonight?"

She asked. "I'm fine, they invited me to stay the night. Is that fine?" I replied. "Sure" she said. We got to their house and I told Hayes that he could help me pack my stuff. We both went to my house and he helped me upstairs into my room. I grabbed some clothes, my makeup, and my bathroom essentials like tooth/hair brush and deodorant etc. "you're too pretty for makeup" Hayes helped me put the stuff in my bag. "Oh please you haven't seen me without it" I laughed. "I bet you'd still be beautiful without it" he smiled. "Is that everything?" He asked. "Check in that bottom drawer I think my phone charger is in there" he opened the bottom drawer and pulled out something shiny.

AN: ooh cliffhangaa ^^^ btw sorry I post a lot I'm just bored right now. Probably will post one more chapter tonight because it's 1 am where I am and I need to get up early 😁 I procrastinate with my sleep... Idk how because sleep is life. But hope you ENJOY!!
