Curling your hair is a simple process, that can take some time. I'm going to be honest here, I have no idea how to use a curling iron, if you know how to use a curling iron, just PM me and you can write an article about it! But I'm the mean time, we are going to go over some of the curling methods without using a curling iron.
1. Overnight Braid

This one is quite simple, the more braids in your hair, the more tighter curls you get

This one is quite simple, the more braids in your hair, the more tighter curls you get. For example: One braid might give you some waves, and two braids will tighten those waves into light curls.

Step One: Prep Your Hair.

Wet it, then brush it out throughly, making sure that the hair is still damp for when you braid it

Step Two: Braid it!
Pick however many braids you desire, then braid your beautiful hair! Some people like to add hair spray to the braids at this point, but since we are sleeping with these braids, I usually wait until the morning to set the curls.

2. The T-Shirt Method

This is for the crafty people out there who want more reliable and tighter curls

You want to cut it up into strips, depending how tight you want your curls affects the width. For tight curls, cut them into 1 Inch or smaller, for wider curls, a max width of 3 inches will do it. Get as many strips as possible from the tshirt, and don't be
afraid to use the neck and sleeves.

Step 3: Apply To Hair.

Use a comb or bobby pins to separate a bit of hair at a time. Line up the bottom of a t-shirt strip with the end of your hair. Roll your hair up toward your roots, keeping the t-shirt strip in place the whole time. When you've rolled your hair and the strip up to your scalp, tie the ends of the strip to hold the rolled hair in place.

3. Rollers

Ah yes. The prehistoric method of hair curlers.

Step One: Buy some rollers.
Remember, the bigger the roller, the wider the curls will be! You can get curlers from the dollar store for cheap.

Step Two: Prep That Hair
We've been over this. Damp, untangled.
Step Three: Add Rollers

Starting from the bottom, roll up the rollers until the strands of hair are in place

Starting from the bottom, roll up the rollers until the strands of hair are in place. Then, bobby pin it so it won't fall out, especially if you choose to sleep with them on.

Step Four: Remove.
Once hair is dried, you can remove those rollers and let your curls out.

I'm sure there are a hundred and four other ways to curl your hair without expensive irons or damaging heat, but I'm going to sick to these three for now.

Love always,

Lori.
