Chaper 3: The lake

No ones Pov

    Kitchie and toukesu walked through the forest, It was bright and sunny out. You could hear the birds chirping their wonderful songs while gliding through the air.

The trees russled in the wind. They soon made it to a large lake that seemed like it was as big as a ocean. It looked like it went on forever, never to stop.

Kitchies Pov.

"Why are we at a lake? I thought we were gonna go to a market or something?". Touketsu looked at me and ruffled up my hair, " We'll get there, The market is on the other side of this lake."

I smiled but then frowned." How are we gonna get on the other side of the lake?"

"We have wait for the next boat to arive here."

I nodded and knelt down into the long grass surrounding the lake. I looked down and saw a dark green moss and a little toad.

It was struggling to get out of the mud. I picked it up and set into the water and it swam away. I got up and noticed that touketsu was staring at me.

I smiled devilishly as a evil plan ran through my head. I scooped up a handful of mud and then sculpted it into a ball.

I threw the ball at his face! I lauged as he tried to get it off of his pale light blue face.

Touketsu's pov

"WHAT THE HELL?!" I yelled and tried to get as much mud as i could get off of my face. I got some of it into my mouth too, it tasted disgusting. As i got a half a hand ful of dirt off my face i saw a little worm crawl out of it.

I immediately threw the mud into the water. I sighed and used the bottom of my cape to wipe my face off. I looked at Kitchie. "You will pay for this."

"Oh really?"

"Yes really!"

We glared at each other to what seemed like hours untill i saw Kitchie crack out a smile and then just a few seconds later we burst out laughing.

We kept on laughing as a dark oak wood boat swam over to us.
