chapter 4: Drowning

No ones pov.

Kitchie and touketsu laughed and laughed. Untill they saw the boat drifting away. Kitchie yelled out for thw boat to come back but it was no use.

She sighed "what are we gonna do n-" Touketsu swooshed her off her feet, carrying her bridal style.

She was surprised amd also flattered. Touketsu set one of his feet onto the water and the water under his feet froze instantly(Omg hes elsa now XD)

Kitchie's Pov

I blushed and saw touketsu put his foot onto the water. I was about to start freakkng out thinking he could jist swim through the lake but the water under his foot froze.

I calmed down but was also confused. How is that even possible!? He started walking over the water, every step he took the water froze under it.

I griped onto his coat, hoping the ice wouldn't break under him.

Soon enough i could see in the distance what looks like lanterns and little buildings.

I smiled untill i saw that there were shadows almost covering every inch of the area around us.

The water started to turn a dark maroon purple. Touketsu started to walk faster. I looked up at his face and he looked alittle worried with a mix of scared.

Seeing him like that started to scare me too. I griped harder on his coat and hid my face in it. He was now running.

I poked my head out and looked at what he was running from. It was a dark figure that was about the same color the water was turning but more of a grayish tint to it.

They looked at me and gave me a smile like if they were insane. I started to tear up. I hid my face once again and cried into touketsu's coat.

Touketsu's pov

Run.

Run.

Just keep running....

I looked down at kitchie. She was crying...

I looked back and saw the figure still behind us. "Its ok, were almost there." I stroked Kitchie's dark forest green hair, hoping she would calm down.

The ice below me was starting to get little cracks in it. Untill suddenly.

I fell into the cold water with kitchie still im my arms. I held my breath as long as i could nut noticing that kitchie was practically drowning.

When i came back up i looked around and there was nothing...only little remainds of the ice.

I looked at kitchie and she looked pale. I immediately swam towards land where the market was.

I set kitchie behind a stand and sat next to her. "Come on wake up!" I shook here, trying to wake her up.

I saw her eyes flutter open but then she started to puke up water, specifically purple water...

She passed out again. I sighed and picked her back up and looked back at the lake.

There was the dark figure slowly sinking into the water starong at me. They looked like they were laughing and smiling....

I looked bacm at kitchie

"Please be ok..."

A/N : welp, i made a chapter alittle longer than the others, but not that much.
