Touketsu's pov
As soon as i got home i put the basket of colorful bright fruits and vegetables next to the tv stand and went upstairs with kitchie still in my arms.
I walked into a spare room i had that used to belong to one of my best friends. I set her down on the bed and pulled up a chair next to it.
I stared at her for a god knows how long. Seconds felt like minutes and minutes felt like hours.
I started to tear up and pet her soft green hair. Im suprised at how she doesn't remember me from when we were kids. Its probably the way i look now....
I should go make something to eat....i got up and went back downstairs. U noticed that i left the front door open and i looked outside seeing that it was almost noon (ITS HIGHHHH NOON. if anyone gets that game reference you get to be mentioned later)
I closed the creeky door. Went to the kitchen and started to make lunch.
When making the food i thought about all the childhood memories i still have of me and kitchie.
--flash backkk--
Touketsu ran towards the front door to her house, knocked on the door twice and waited.
He was so excited to play with kitchie today. He wanted to go to the creek next to his house in the forest.
He stood there waiting. He looked around and saw the ground covered in a white blanket of snow, possibly 3 inches deep.
He saw the door open, kitchie was. Standing there happily. She had a purple sweater on with her ironic dark blood red boots that went up to her knees.
She smiled and held touketsu's hand and ran towards the forest. No words spoken between them.
She already knew that he wanted to go to the creek. He was talking about it all yesterday and the day before that.
When they made it there they saw how it was frozen. Kitchie looked at touketsu "we should go see where this tiny river goes!"
He nodded in agreement and then kitchie ran following where the creek lead to with her hand holding onto his.
No words could could explain their friendship.
When they got to the end of the creek what lied there was a lake that they thought was as bug as the ocean!
Well with their tiny child minds they thought it was that big.
Kitchie got a amazing idea and jumped onto the frozen lake. She slid across the ice.
Touketsu stared at her, worring for her dear life that the ice wouldn't break under her.
"Come on touky!! Look how fun this is!" She said as she slid across the ice like a elegant swan sliding through the water.
Touketsu almost cringed at the nickname she gave him.
"Nahh its fine, my shoes aren't as good as yours so i probably wont even slid."
Kitchie laughed at the stupid excuse and pulled him onto the ice. He was startled at how quickly that how fast it all happened.
They were sliding around on the ice happily. It soon became dark and kitchie had to go home.
She slid off of the ice her feet stomping on the ice so she wouldn't slide away.
Little did she know that by her stompung, the ice was cracking little by little.
By the time she got off the ice touketsu was doung the same thing she was doing, trying to get to land.
He was almost there his hand reaching out for Kitchie's sweater.
CRASH
--end of flashback-
Touketsu was now crying. He got done cooking the food and was now walking to Kitchie's room with her food.
He sat down in the chair he pulled up to the bed before and put the food on the nightstand.
He had left his food on the kitchen counter.
He stared at kitchie once more and then he hugged her. Crying onto her chest.
Her being a flat chest made this less weird for him.
He cries and cried. Making her flannal shirt damp.
Kitchie's pov
I woke up to something on me. Inlooked down and saw touketsu hughing me and crying.
I sighed and hugged back. He seemed suprised at me hugging him back but then just started crying harder.
He cried onto my shoulder and i rubbed his back. I wonder why hes crying...
For possibly a hour he kept on crying untill he finially criee himself to sleep.
I laied him down next to me on the bed and looked at the night stand. There was a plate of food.
Heh must be for me...
I grabed the plate of food and began to eat. I looked at touketsu. He looked so peacful sleeping there.I blushed and sighed
"Sweet dreams"
Idk what to say. But i am getting better at making the chapters longer. And yes i will mention anyone that gets that reference.
