Chapter 2: The packs side

(Bella's pov)

The wolves howl. Well we howl all night. After the traditional howling we all head back to our homes. My sister and I run side bye side and stop at the river. We lay down beside each other and look at the moon.

We communicate through telepathy. "Bella?" My sister says.

"Yeah. What is it Sarah?"

"You ever think you'll find a mate?"

I growl at her and she inches further to the ground. "I probably wont..."

"But you have had offers right? I mean your really pretty. Males are probably falling head of paws for you..."

"Sarah... you don't know anything about finding a mate..." I shake my head and look up at the moon. I move my paws into the ground and then give a whimper of sadness. "Its a connections you both get. Over time you will meet them and they will make something in you.... different..."

"Have you seen your mate? Is he cute?"

"Actually.... no... I have had dreams of a girl... leading me from town to a cliff. Shes so beautiful. But something is strange about her. I reach out her...but that's when I usually wake up." I stand up. And then push her over and put my paws on her chest. "But that's for another time! Lets race little sis!" She howls and growls and pushes me off. I smile and dart off. She nips at my heels and then we run together to our home. We stop at the pourch and change. We dust off our clothes and I comb her hair with my fingers.

"alright munchkin. Go to bed. And welcome to the pack."

"Thanks sis....just be careful of dad..."

"Sarah I know. I know..." she runs off inside and up the stair to her room. I see the light turn on and I smile. I go to head inside then I feel hands on my shoulders and yanking me off the lurch. My back hits the steps and I roll to the ground.

I look up and see my father and he shoves his foot into my throat. "What are you doing girl!"

"Daddy get off!" I yell and I scratch at his legs but he doesn't move. He bends down and picks me up by the neck.

"How is this child! You will marry Kaden Wilson!"

"I...ain't ... marrying him... you're better off killing me...." he growls a low growl.

"I tell you what child! fight me and I will let you decide."

"Fine!" I choke out. But soon he drops me and kicks me in the ribs. Soon to walk off. My father runs out of the house. My brother Lucas, Sarah, and my momma Julie.

"What the hell Stanley!?" My momma yells off into the darkness to my father. My brother and sister run to me helping me up.

"Come on...lets get you inside and washed up..."

"Wait.." my momma says walking to me. She stand infront of me and slaps me. "You lookin' for a death wish Hun! Fighting your father! Over what a stupid marriage!"

"Momma I ain't marrying someone I don't like!" I pull away from my brother and sister. Walking to my mother. "It isn't right! You may have had to marry daddy but I ain't marrying laden! This is modern time! Of computers and cars! But you and dad choose to live in the past. We don't!... Kaden is not the one...not my mate! Mom...didn't you feel the same along time ago about dad! Its mine turn to stand and fight for my rights! What I believe!"

She huff's and walks off into the house. I stumble back and I fall into my brothers and sisters. They look at me and my brother whispers.

"Go to sleep... we will take care of you..."

I nod and close my eyes. Drifting quickly off to sleep. The. I have the dream again. The girl has black hair. Long, down to her back and past it. Her green eyes fade to red. She starts walking to me and she reaches out her hand I put out my hand and start walkign to her too. Then everything goes black and I hear screaming.
