Ch. 12- Visiting Phoenix

Katelyn's POV
Ugh, I want to go see Phoenix but they won't give me her room number. I have so many questions for her, why didn't she tell me who he was? Why didn't she tell me about him in the first place?! I took a deep breath, I needed to calm down. I eventually calmed down and thought it through, there might've been a reason she didn't tell me. She told Zane and then...he got attacked, maybe she didn't want that to happen to me. She probably didn't want it to happen to any of us, but she knew she couldn't deal with it any longer I guess. But, did she do it willingly?

Phoenix's POV
Where is everyone? I heard them talking to Zane the room over, the walls aren't thick enough to block out my hearing. Maybe I could hear them better if-no. Aaron told me not to bring out my Lupine side...but, none of the doctors are here right now, so maybe...I felt my right right ear change and get more alert. I heard Travis say "Close your eyes." I heard Zane say "Okay...?" I heard footsteps in the hall and turned back to my full Meif'wa form. Dr. Holt opened the door and walked in. "Phoenix, can I ask you something?" "Sure, what is it?" "Why don't you or Luzu have last names?" No.. I swallowed, "Well, Luzu doesn't have one because she's an orphan and doesn't want one, as for me...in Meif'wa culture we often don't have last names." I can't tell her that I'm Aaron's adopted younger sister, he said to keep it a secret. "Oh, alright, would you like me to put a last name in your medical records? So we can know it's you?" "Sure...can you put Lycan?" She smiled, "Of course." She turned to her computer and started typing again. Well, maybe the others will come soon.

Dr. Holt's POV
Lycan...I think I know that name, maybe she's good friends with them and think of them as family, because I believe all of them are Lupine, or Werewolves if I remember correctly. Well, I never really researched Meif'wa or Lupine Culture, maybe I should look into it. I filled out the report for noon into the computer by looking at her current status. I looked over and saw that she didn't eat the rest of her food that I gave her after I left her room. "Hey Phoenix?" "Yes?" "Are you not hungry?" "Is Luzu alright?" "I haven't checked on her since I last told you," I lied through my teeth, I was facing away from her so she didn't see. I stood up, "I'm going to go tell your friends you're awake, and they can come, alright?" "Alright." I sighed silently and walked towards the room next door, but they were already outside. "Hello, I'm Dr. Holt," I greeted. "Hi," said a girl with soft blue hair. "Are you," I asked as I looked down at my clipboard and then back up at them, "Are any of you a Lycan?" The girl pointed to a tall black haired boy in the back. "I'm Aaron, Aaron Lycan, why?" He asked cautiously. "Phoenix Lycan is awake, you and your friends can come see her," I said plainly. The girl with blue hair suddenly looked very relieved, "She is?! Where is she?!" "Yes, and follow me," I said as I started leading the party to Phoenix's room.

Katelyn's POV
Phoenix is awake! She's awake! Oh my god she's awake, and I get to see her! But...did she ask to see Aaron? If so why? Katelyn, calm, you aren't dating her, and she didn't know who was here, so she probably asked if she could see her adopted family so it wouldn't be weird. I sighed, why do I always jump to conclusions when there's an obvious answer right in front of me? "PHOENIX!" I ran over to her and hugged her tightly. "I'm so glad you're okay!" I exclaimed. Aaron came over and asked, "Did you tell her about you being adopted?" "No, she asked about a last name to put in medical records," She smiled. "Also..." Phoenix whispered something in Aaron's ear. He sighed and said that they'll have to talk later. Aphmau was here as well, Silas and Travis had gone home. "I can't wait for you to come home! I had something planned, but then this happened...We can still do what I had planned, though!" Aphmau nearly shouted. "What were the plans?" Me and Phoenix asked at the same time. We looked at each other and blushed. Aph sqeed a little then said, "It's a secret~" We sighed and talked a little more about how everyone was doing and what was going on outside and inside the hospital. After about 45 minutes we left.

Luzu's POV
Where am I? Urrghh. I can't move, who is that. I spoke, "H-hello, mmphf, where a-am I. Wh-why does every-aghh." I took a deep breath in. "Stop trying to move, it'll make the pain worse. As for where your at, you're at the hospital," The tan man said, "I am Dr. McClain, you have several injuries and a concussion from a fight with another Lupine." Another Lupine...I don't remember fighting anyone. How long have I been here. I lifted my head a couple of inches and looked down at my body, my arms were covered in bandages, the right arm had a cast around it. I became more aware of my senses and felt wrappings on my chest, stomach, and back. I felt a searing pain from my neck and laid my head back down, groaning in the process. "I said stay still and you won't feel as much pain," Dr. McClain repeated. "I don't like listening," I grumbled shifting my legs a little, "Urrgh." "You almost as stubborn as me," He sighed. Suddenly I remembered shouting to someone to get Phoenix out while I dealt with Ein...EIN! I sat straight up and screamed in pain and my vision getting blurry. Panting a little I whispered his name, "Ein...th-that..." I growled and the doctor came over, "My Irene you are stubborn, you need to rest." I heard a small crack from my arm and screamed again. Dr. McClain went over to a drawer and pulled out a syringe. "I need to see your arm," He grabbed my arm and inserted the needle. A couple minutes after I felt sleepy and everything went blank, my last thought being: It was anesthetics so I don't hurt myself.

A/N- I really do like hurting my character don't I? Hope you like this, Phoenix is doing good as well as Zane. What is this surprise Aphmau's planning? Hmmmm? You'll find out in a few chapters...probably. That's all for today! Hope you like it my peeps! Have a good day/night! Guten tag/nacht!

Editor- My god.... I didn't write ANY of Luzu's POV BY THE WAY! I did basically everything else though, I'm so happy!! Except I'm slightly concerned about Author~Chan, but enjoy this chapter!
