"What do you think we'll call this island?" he asks you. "I don't know. You decide" you say in response.
"I'll think we'll have to call it (Y/N)" he says which surprises you. "What!? Why my name? Oh c'mon Chief, you must be joking" you say with the 'oh stop it you' look.
"No, Do I look like I'm kidding? Besides, you were the one who replenished it" he said motioning to you. "And, (Y/n), don't call me chief. Call me Hiccup" he reminded you.
"Okay, okay. I think I should be going. I still have to hunt" you said and got on (d/n). "Wait, what? You'll hunt?" he asks you.
"Mm-hmm. I don't go to the Great Hall cuz I don't go well with other people. And, I prefer providing things for myself rather than to let someone else do it" you inform him with a bit of frustration in your voice.
"Unlike you, I don't let others do things for me. But, of course, you're chief and have all the time in the world because you let others do stuff for you" you blurt out angrily without thinking about what you just said. You suddenly realize what you just said and cover your mouth. Why did I just say that?, you think to yourself.
This was your supposedly hidden hatred for people who have high positions and let other people do their work. "I-I'm sorry. That came out of hand" you apologized with shame coming over you.
You look over to see him looking down. Oh no, I messed things up, you think to yourself. "I-I should go. I-I'm sorry. Just pretend you never saw or met me. Act like nothing ever happened here. J-just stay away from me. I-I'm just another stranger you'll never talk to. D-don't even try to look for me" you say with hatred for yourself building up.
"(Y/n)! Wait!" Hiccup says "No, just stay away!" you say as you tell (d/n) to take off and so you did. You hear him screaming your name but you didn't look back.
Your eyes then started to tear up but you didn't stop them. I shouldn't have ever talked to him. I always mess things up. I hate myself!, you think to yourself.
Shame covers every part of your thoughts. "Why did I do that (d/n)? Why? I'm such a fool" you say while crying and holding onto (d/n).
You return to your home and quickly lock down the house. Wanting to be alone. To drown in guilt and pain. That's why my mother and father were able to let go of me easily. Because they wanted me to go. you thought to yourself.
You curled up in your room with a worried (d/n) beside you and cried yourself to sleep.

"C'mon. C'mon. C'mon!" (b/f/n) drags you to somewhere in the forest. It's now your birthday and (b/f/n) is leading you to where your supposedly 'gift' is.
"Here we are!" she says and takes off your blindfold. There, standing before you is a Retriever (a/n: it's the one from my 1st book).
The fastest known breed of dragon. "What!? How- Why- (B/F/N)! You didn't have to" You say in happiness. "I just wanted something for you. And I think old (D/n) needs to rest already" she says and (d/n) comes right behind her.
"How- Thank you (B/F/N)!" you run to her and hugged her. "Well, it was worth the catch" she says with a chuckle. You pull away and she said "Happy Birthday (Y/n)". "Thank you (b/f/n)" you say with tears of joy running down your cheeks and you hug once more.
"Well, c'mon. She's one of a kind" she informs you. You were excited to ride your new dragon but first went to (d/n).
"Hey, girl" you say and she rubs her head against your hand. "I-I know you're gonna miss me. I'm gonna miss you too" you say with another batch tears to fall from your eyes. "But it's time for you get a life. Be free" you say looking into her eyes.
"It's time to let you go (d/n). You're not suited for being cried on or somewhat. You deserve a life on your own" you say as you hug her. "I'll never forget you (d/n)" you say and she puts one of her claws on your back.
You pull back and smile. "Okay, I'm gonna remove your back aching saddle" you say and unbuckle everything from her body.
As everything was off of her body you said "Go on (d/n). Be free" and she took off. You watch her disappear from your sight as she flies farther and farther away from you.
"Okay, let's meet her" you say to (b/f/n) and she claps. "Okay, let's get started". You go nearer to the dark, fiery, red dragon but it backs up.
"I won't hurt you" you say and extend your arm to reach its head. It stares at it for a while but then approves and places its head against your palm. You started rubbing her head and coming nearer her.
"Wow... she's beautiful" you said and it begs for more rubbing. "Aww, I think she likes me" you say and it opens her eyes. Her big round (d/e/c) eyes have a staring contest with you for about 10 seconds until (b/f/n) interupts you.
"Okay! We need to place on a saddle" she says and picks up a saddle. "No, no, no. I think I'm gonna be in charge of that" you say refering to how you'll make your saddle out of your plants.
"But I think I'll need a base for it" you say and accept her offered saddle. "Okay, well. I signed you up for tomorrow's race" she says which surprises you. "What!? Are you crazy?" you say a bit frustrated.
"Well, yeah... aren't you supposed to be happy because you'll be seeing HIM?" she asks you and you remember that you haven't told her about what happened a week ago.
"Oh, umm... yeah. I guess, well I have no chance in winning and he'll never notice me" you say half lying and half saying the truth. "Well, with your new dragon here, I bet you'll get the chance" she says with a giggle.
You then remember that your new dragon is the fastest known breed when trained properly. "Oh, okay... I guess I'll be ready for the race then" you say unexcitedly but your friend doesn't even seem to notice.

Hi! It takes a while to make an original story so yeah... I know you didn't like the outrage of your character a while ago but I just had to do it.
