(D/n), let's do our best. C'mon!" you tell her and she accelerates. Since you weren't really determined, you only had about two sheep in your net by the time the black sheep was about to be released.
"C'mon (D/n)! We can do it" You say now with determination. As you flew, the couple, Astrid and Hiccup were racing to get the sheep.
They were both leaning forward and their dragons were so close to each other. They really do make a great couple you think to yourself.
And now as you fly just behind them with the fastest known bred dragon, you fly with superspeed and past the couple. Everything seemed slow as you pass by them.
You looked at your side a bit and saw him. Still that good looking guy that you've met. You quickly looked back to avoid any eye contact and went straight ahead.
Indeed, you got the sheep and flew to your net before anyone even gets the chance to steal it from you. You dunked the sheep in your net and the crowd went wild.
"'Tlook's like we have a new winner folks!" Gobert then announced. You smiled to yourself because of the fact that you've accomplished something good in a while. "Yesssssssss. Finally" you say and let the feeling of accomplishment take over you.
(A few days later)
You walk into the woods without anything or anyone following you. The sound of the breeze, the chirping of the birds, and the crunching of some leaves under your feet are the only things to be heard. You close your eyes and let the music take over you.
After your first win in your first race, you have become very well known in the town. Although everytime you had to be forced to eat at the Great Hall which made you a tad bit frustrated. Because of the fact that you would see the person you want, and at the same time, do not want to see. Hiccup.
Getting lost in the rich sound of nature's wonders, you hear footsteps. Your eyes shot open and hurriedly went behind a tree. Or actually, climbed up the tree.
You ready your bow and arrow just incase it was a deer or any other animal that would do well as game. The footsteps become louder and from the branch, you could see a figure of a man/woman walking towards your direction.
You squinted and noticed that it was the one and only, Hiccup. You quickly hid closer to the tree to avoid him from seeing you. And then you heard other footsteps and saw the outcasts.
Hiccup, who heard it as well and not knowing where to hide, couldn't seem to decide where he would want to go. You, a bit frustrated that he was so confused with his desicions, decided to help him. You went down from the tree and grabbed his arm hesitantly but quickly.
You pulled him behind the tree beside you. He was about to speak but you covered his mouth with yout hand. You placed your pointer finger on your lips and he nodded. You went to peek just to see that the Outcasts had their back turned on your direction.
"How could the Outcasts have come here?" you whisper with a suspicious look on your face. You faced Hiccup and looked like he was about to say something. "Who are those?" He asked you in whisper. "The Outcasts. They must've snuck their way in" you whisper back to him forgetting all about what happened between both of you a week ago.
"Maybe" he says coming beside you. You climb back up the tree without even asking your companion if he wants to too. "Hey, a little bit of help?" he whispers from below.
You just sighed and helped him up. He started grunting softly which made you more irritated. You signaled him to stop and leant doen to whisper. "Are you really gonna keep on climbing that way? Because if you do, the Outcasts will definitely hear us" You whisper with a bit of sarcasm. "Unless that's what you want to happen" you say and he responds"Of course not" while shaking his head.
"Okay, now shut up, hold your breathe and climb to avoid your full-of-effort grunting" you say with sarcasm very clear in it. He did what he was told but you had to help him to position himself on the branch.
"Okay, now that's done, what are we gonna do?" you ask. "I don't actually know. Drive them away, perhaps?" he suggests which made you even more irritated. "Why did you even have to climb up with me when you're actually going to drive them away with your... I don't know, flaming sword? Dragon?" say with your patience wearing thin.
"Nope, we'll have to distract them to escape" he says and you softly chuckle. "And how is that?" you ask. "I think that would envolve me going down this tree and calling their attention while you go and run" he says and you just roll your eyes.
He hesitantly steps on the branch and takes a deep breathe. "Let's do this" he whispers to his self and jumps down. You hold your bow and made sure your sheath of arrows don't fall.
"Hey you!" He shouts at the outcasts. The men transferred his attention to him and you took this chance to run away. You jumped off the tree and landed right on your feet then started running.
You were able to get a safe distance from them and looked back. You saw Hiccup, cornered by the men. You get a teeny tiny bit more frustrated and pass your hand through the top of your hair. "Seriously?" you say and just run back to him.
