You run to him and try to figure out a way to get into the men's circle.
An idea popped in your head and jumped on a rock nearby and got into the circle. You ready and arrow on your bow and pointed it to one of the men. "Lay a finger on him and you'll never see the light of day!" you shout with the intention of scaring them away. Instead they laugh at you and come closer grinning evilly.
"Oh, so you really wanna get hurt, huh?" you say and raise one of your eyebrows. They came closer and closer to you. Not stopping. "Hiccup!" you called out to him. "Yeah?" he responds. "Mind giving me a boost?" you ask. "No, I don't mind. As long as you won't leave me here alone to die" he says. "Yeah, don't worry, that's not what I have in mind" you say and jump on Hiccup's hand and boosts you up.
You were fast enough to let the arrow hit the shoulder of the supposed 'leader' of the group and another one on the man beside him. The rest that were trying to get to Hiccup have been tied to the trees tightly by the vines you controlled.
You land on your feet safely, with style, if you might also add. You were crouched down with another arrow ready just in case. "You don't mess with someone who has a bow and a sheath of arrows" you said and stood up properly once more.
You pass a finger through the hair at the very top of your head. You turn back to look at Hiccup and saw him walking towards you. "Would've been easier if you had your flaming sword out" you say and he just looks down. "Sorry, just got . . . a bit preoccupied" he said and you just walk to the 'leader' of the outcasts.
"Who are you, what are you doing here and why are you here" you asked pointing your bow at him as a threat. He stirred in pain, holding his wounded shoulder. "We are a group of the Outcasts, ma'am. We- we were just following our master's orders" he said in an old, grumpy, rough voice. "The intentions of your master's orders?" you asked him.
"To know the plans of the chief of Berk" he said a bit angrily. "What do they want to know about my plans?" Hiccup then asked walking nearer the man still lying on the ground. "Plans- regarding- the dragons" the man said having a hard time breathing.
"What about dragons?" you ask in a demanding tone. "I- I don't know that already. He-he only said that we have to find out the chief's plans regarding the dragons" he stuttered. You and Hiccup took a quick glance at each other, wondering why he would want that. And then it just stumbled across your mind.
"He's still on the 'Get the dragon trainer to train dragons for him' thing, isn't he?" You asked him and he responded with a nod. "Oh . . . well, I've been working on my powers and . . . I discovered another plant. It is something that erases the memory" you say with a smirk and look at the man who was wide eyed.
"N-no. You wouldn't do that, m-miss" he said now sounding scared. "Oh, I will. I warned you, and yet you still did it" you said and turned to look at Hiccup. "What do you think?" you asked him. "I don't know, (y/n). Unless . . ." he said looking at the man. "He agrees not to talk about this subject or matter to Alvin" you continued for him.
"Better that than getting my memory erased" the man said, his heart beating fast in panic. "How fo we know you'll keep your word?" You ask him. "I-I am the most trusted man in his crew. I keep one of the deepest secrets" he informed you.
"Well, be sure to keep your word. Or next you and your crew come to this island, you'll get off of it with none of your memories" you threatened and he nods immediately as the sight amuses you a little. "And another condition, you must not say anything regarding to her powers" Hiccup added and the man nodded once more.
"Deal" the man said. "Okay. Now, I stand still" you say and remove the arrow from his shoulder and he grunted in pain. "Now run along" you said and loosened the vines around the other men. The man who was also shot by an arrow quickly stood up and removed the arrow with a sour look on his face. "Go, now" you said flatly and they all ran back whence they came.
"You got a way to intimidate people, you know" Hiccup said once the men had vanished from sight. "Well, if you say so. You owe me though" you said and got the two arrows you previously used. "Yeah, and thanks" he said as he walked near you.
You knew what he might do. "You know, you should try to hang out with-" you cut him off. "Wait. Just because I saved your *ss, doesn't mean we're friends" you objected and he just holds his hands out in the 'I surrender' position.
"Okay. So I wanna at least be . . . uh. . ." he ran out of words and it amused you. "Acquaintances?" You said. "Oh yeah! Acquaintances" he tried saying it as if it were weird. "So, acquaintances?" he asked holding out his hand. "Fine" you said and shook his hand. As if it were some kind of magnet, your hand stayed a little longer than expexted holding his hand. But he didn't seem to notice.
Acquaintances.
