Madison
"You've been hiding." Madison found Felicia sitting alone between book cases.
"Not trying to." Felicia smiled softly. There seemed to be a lot on her mind.
Respecting her space, Madison stood up to leave. There was a lot to face in their new relationship. Madison was adjusting but nothing told her she shouldn't want more from both women. It would take time to get to an open understanding as to where she stood.
"I'm not asking you to leave." Felicia looked up, patting the floor. "Sit."
Suddenly, Madison was nervous. She smiled, complying. Staring at the lower shelf book collections, Madison distracted herself by leaning forward to pull out a book. "The Viking World," she said aloud.
Felicia snorted. "Am I making you that uncomfortable, to distract yourself from me?" As she spoke, her hand grazed my forearm, until reaching the book. Not speaking, Felicia continued. "We could learn some things from this book," she joked.
"Yes." Madison took the book back, flipping through pages. "Like...how raid a village."
"Well...that is what we do now. Raid what we can," Felicia pointed out. Felicia took the book back again. "Should I expect you to be hiding in a book whenever you are alone with me?"
Madison rolled her eyes. "I'm not hiding. I'm stalling," she admitted. Slumping into the books, Madison decided to open up. "I don't know what I'm doing. How to do this? Is there like a book in here I could read—"
Reaching out, Felicia grabbed her hand. "Do you want to explore something with both Tris and me?" Felicia's question was serious, studying Madison for an honest answer. Part of her still doubted.
It wasn't like Madison to rush out an answer no matter how sure she thought she was. There was the believing she wanted to have a relationship with two women and knowing. Which did she got in? Madison studied Felicia back with just as much scrutiny. Her mind began to lure into what she hoped for. Madison couldn't lie and she wouldn't start whatever this was off with one. "I want to try."
Just a fraction, Felicia frowned. "Please tell me if you don't want this cause I can't handle—"
"I want to try Felicia." Putting her hand on Felicia's lap, Madison got her attention. "Isn't that what you do when you start off any relationship? You try and hope things work out. I'm attracted to you and that's enough for me to explore more. Not for Tris, but for the possibility of something better, that I can have from both you and Tris."
Cupping Felicia's face, it was a show of intimate gesture. It wasn't Madison's normal behavior at the start of any relationship. She wanted to show extra initiative, in hopes to having Felicia trust in her words. Madison knew Felicia wouldn't make the first move. She could stall and coward out or step up.
Lowering her gaze, Madison took in Felicia's full lips. Vivid memory came back to her, of their last kiss. Madison naturally slipped her fingers into Felicia's hair. Leaning close, their breaths touched before their lips. Madison quivered, their lips not yet touching.
Having Felicia's hand anchor up her thigh didn't help keep her body in control. Madison let her mind sync into Felicia's touch, shutting her eyes.
"You aren't trying to seduce me?" Felicia joked.
Madison smiled. "Do you want me to stop?"
Shivering from my hand down at her waist, Felicia shook her head. "I'm trying to behave," Felicia hummed out. She placed her hand over Madison's stopping her from exploring. "Don't tease me."
