Chapter 13 - Plot Twist

**Roman's P.O.V.**

{The next day - Thursday}

I was nervous to go through with the plan. It seemed like something was wrong. I knew Seth wanted to stop Dean for good. He was willing to give me another chance, so I had to return the favor. I wasn't sure if doing this was the right way, but I had to give it a shot.

"Sup Rome ! You gonna lift today ?" Dean asked as I sat there thinking.

"Yeah I'm ready, I was just thinking about us." I said.

"You mean like forming a tag team ?" he asked.

"Look, there's something going on between us. I was too stupid to realize it, but I see it now." I told him as I pulled him aside.

"What are you talking about ?" he questioned.

"Dean, I know you're in love with me. I see the way you look at me."

"Dude, calm down. Remember we're trying to get you and little miss two toned back together ?" he reminded me.

"Whatever happens, there will always be an us somewhere down the line."

"But you know I have Tyler. I'll be the first to say you're the best looking guy on the roster, but I'm taken. I'm sure we'll have something sometime soon, but not today." he said putting his hand on my shoulder.

I agreed with him and we finished our workout. I should've known Dean wasn't behind any evil plan. He's been helping me this whole time. I felt bad for doubting him even just a little.

**Dean's P.O.V.**

"You stupid asshole ! Why didn't you just tell him !?" I said to myself after talking to Roman.

"He knows you love him, you could've had him right there ! But you backed out like a little girl !" I thought to myself.

"No, you're good. Remember the plan. Stick to it."

**Seth's P.O.V.**

{The next night - SmackDown!}

"He looks good out there." Dean said coming from behind me as I watched Roman's match.

"I guess, but my eyes are on Orton." I told him.

"Seth, I just want to say-"

"I'm not worried about Roman. We're done. Like I said, my eyes are on Randy .... tonight." I repeated.

There was straight silence, and he walked off.

**Roman's P.O.V.**

"Good match out there !" Dean said congratulating me.

"Thanks ! I have to talk to Brian about making a few special appearances, it'll be a while but I'll see you at the hotel later." I said lying.

"Okay, don't forget your extra boots in my locker." he reminded me as he walked off.

SmackDown! was finally over, and I wasn't ready for Seth's plan. I met him out front and we took his car to Dean's place. I gave him another chance, but I tried reasoning with him.

"I talked to Dean while we worked out. He said there's nothing between us. He has Tyler and he's really happy. He wouldn't mess that up." I said.

"No, that's just what he wants you to think." Seth replied as we walked up the stairs to Dean's hotel room.

"Okay, let's see who right and who's wrong." I said.

"You've been staying with him for a while, so you have all of this sympathy for him. But I know what's really going on. Trust me, I have to end this before it grows into a bigger problem." he said picking the lock.

He opened the door and we walked in. We saw Dean in the bed with a can of beer almost asleep.

"Wake up you crazy lunatic !" Seth yelled shaking him.

"W-what's going on ? And how do you keep getting in here !?" Dean asked sitting up.

"I'm against this 100% by the way." I said apologizing.

"Admit that you've been trying to break us up !" Seth said.

"Okay, fine." Dean started releasing a sigh. "I have been keeping him away from you." he admitted.

"See ! I told you Roman !" Seth jumped.

"But not for my personal reasons. I have a boyfriend, remember ?"

"The one that dumped you for lying and playing games ?" Seth asked.

"Okay, I'm ready. This time forget about the condom and just- " a voice said as a door opened.

It was Tyler coming out the bathroom completely naked.
