"Everyone familiar with the rules?" Sam asks and we all nod. "The let's begin."
"I can start us off." Marisa pipes up. Her voice is high pitched and whiny. When Hunter joined the group he sat on the floor because there was nowhere else to sit, but she made herself right beside him. She brushes a flock of her sleek black hair off her shoulder and bats her eyelashes. "Never have I ever gotten a speeding ticket."
The first three people to drink are Wess, Suzie and Dawson.
"I find it hard to believe you've never gotten a ticket." Dawson says to Sam who shakes his head.
"Are you kidding? If I get a ticket, my parents'll ban me from driving the Audi."
The game follows the circle clockwise, so Nina goes next.
"Never have I ever lost a bet." It's true, Nina has never lost a bet in her life. She has fantastic intuition. That's why I don't bet with her anymore. Wess on the other hand is not as smart. Every one takes a swig except Nina and our British intruder.
"Never have I ever," I take a second to think of a good one. "been with more than one person in a single month." The question is aimed toward Wesley, but Marisa joins him in taking a sip.
"Never have I ever had a friend with benefits." Leave it to Dawson to shift things. He brings his own bottle to his lips and winks at Marisa who does the same.
"You know, Dawsey, you're not supposed to drink on your own turn." She raises an eyebrow.
"I know, Doll, but I felt like exposing us." Nina's eyes go wide and Marisa shrugs her shoulders.
"Whatever works."
"Never have I ever made it past second base." Sam smirks and drinks alongside Marisa, Dawson, Wess and Suzie. Nina and I sit and watch them all, slightly uncomfortably. At some point I made eye contact with him: Hunter. He broke the gaze and took a swig, much to my surprise.
"I guess we're all breaking the rules now." Wess raises a brow at Sam. "However, I will not be throwing myself under the bus. Never have I ever been inside a Victoria's Secret."
Suzie and Marisa obviously take a sip but Wess doesn't seem satisfied.
"Anyone else?" His eyes fall on Dawson, who cracks.
"Man, I told you that in secret!"
"Sorry bro, everything goes in this game. It's every man for himself--" Wess gets cut off by Suzie's impromptu make out session. When they finish sucking face, Suzie takes her turn.
"Never have I ever worn my girlfriend's underwear." At first, I get a little confused until Wess' face goes bright red. Dawson and Sam scream out, excitedly, while the rest of us laugh. Wess takes a rushed gulp of his beer and sinks further into the seat.
"Your turn, Gorgeous." Marisa moans in Hunter's ear, and I could swear he shivered. He takes a little while before he opens his mouth to speak.
"Never have I ever been an Avril Lavigne fan." He glances up at me and my eyes bug out. I take a hesitant sip.
"Ew, really?" Marisa pretends to gag. "Only future drug dealers and present losers still listen to Avril." She puts a hand on my knee. "No offense."
My eyes narrow and she looks back at her eye candy who raises his bottle to his own lips. Marisa's jaw drops.
"You? You listen to Avril? she asks.
"Yeah I do." that accent really does melt your heart.
