I looked out of the window, staring out into the early morning streets of Sydney. The sunrise was just coming up, the colours of red, orange and pink were splashed across the sky, like a work of art. There were barely any people awake in this hour, maybe a handful of parents who had to go to work early.

"Hailey, what are you doing up so early?" A groggy voice asked, yawning. I stiffened slightly in my position but loosened, when it wasn't the same voice as last night.

"Just...thinking" I sighed softly, curling my body tighter. I was warm, content in my casual loose shirt that was haging off one shoulder and sweatpants that were already becoming too short.

"You aren't thinking about last night,
are you?" Lou asked, a hint of worry in his voice as he sat up, from what I could tell with the rustling.

"No" I lied, leaning my head aginst the cool window pane. It was easier to fake a smile, get on with it, then attempt to explain my feelings and break down again.

"Good, cause people like that aren't worth thinking of" He said lightly, pulling out clothes from his wardrobe and chucking them on the bed.

"I'm going to go for a early morning jog, you want to come?" His voice muffled as he stepped into the bathroom to shower and get dressed.

I debated this in my head for a moment. If I went, perhaps I could clear my mind and just talk and laugh with Lou. But then again, I would have to pretend to be happy. Which actually is harder then you think.

"No thanks" I replied, closing my eyes slowly again. Today was going to be like the last couple of days; Being quiet, get worried about from Lou and Lily, and missing Niall.

Lily's POV

Today is not going to be like the last couple of days; With Hailey being all quiet, Niall trying to talk to her but her avoiding him at all costs, me and Lou trying to get them to talk already but not working...It's quite sad, really.

Sure, I've been giving Niall the cold shoulder since he got back, but Liam still told me his side of the story, which I wouldn't have believed if it was anyone but Niall. He didn't seem like the kind of guy who would let down Hailey that easily.

He was a leprechaun for goodness sake.

"Today, I'm going to force Hailey and Niall to kiss and make up" I announced cheerfully, pouring myself a bowl of cereal. Liam and Harry raised an eyebrow at me, disbelieveing. It's a miracle these two are the only ones awake at 9:00am. Zayn, being the lazy person he is, was still sleeping in, and Louis had gone out with Elenour. Niall, was probably moping in his room, watching TV, while Hailey probably was doing the same.

"And how are you going to do that?" Liam asked, curiousity and doubt in his voice. I rolled my eyes at his doubt but still felt the familiar love for him as I looked at him in his beautiful brown eyes.

Love, is officially weird.

"It's simple, really. One, check that Hailey is sitll sulking in her room. Two, knock on her door and tell her it's just me, wanting to have girl talk. Three, when she opens the door, I'll push Niall in her room before she knows what's happening. Four, I'll lock them in...from the outside so they can't get out. Five, they'll make up. Six, I'll be the hero" I beamed, feeling pretty proud of my plan I had thought up last night while brushing my teeth.

Why do I think of all the best plans while brushing my teeth?

"Sounds like a plan" Liam grinned, kissing me gently on the cheek as he walked past me to put his dishes in the sink.
