When I woke up today and the world seemed a restless place
It could have been that way for me
The Doctor is rifling through the clothes and looking for something to wear.
He picks up what looks like a soldier costume and holds it up to himself while Mickey, Rose and Jackie are preparing the Christmas Dinner.
Then I wandered around
The Doctor shuffles through the clothes rack with no luck.
And I thought of your face
A brown suit catches the Doctor's eye so he holds it up.
That Christmas looking back at me
The Doctor grabs a brown jacket, smiles with delight and dashes off.
I wish today was just like every other day.
Rose serves the sprouts at the table.
Cause today has been the best day
The Doctor walks slowly up to the mirror, hands in his pockets, newly clad in his brown suit and jacket. He turns around, looking at his reflection.
Everything I ever dreamed.
Then I started to walk.
He leans towards the mirror, running a hand over his face, examining it.
Pretty soon I will run
He runs his tongue over his teeth, then turns his head to different angles as if to admire the effect.
Then I'll be running back to you.
Ella waited outside The Tardis for The Doctor.
Cause I followed my star, and that's what you are.
The Doctor leaves the enormous wardrobe and was greeted by Ella, he instantly smile.
"There you are. Look at you." She smiles walking to The Doctor.
"How do I look?"
"Handsome." She smiles fixing his tie. The Doctor smiles down at her.
"Will you please come with me this time?"
Ella looks up and her eyes softens at The Doctor's pleading eyes.
"Do not use those eyes. Don't you dare." But he keeps doing them anyway knowing Ella wouldn't be able to resist.
"I hate you so much."
"Does that mean yes?" His eyes light up like a kid on a Christmas day. Well, fitting.
"One trip. That's it."
"Lovely!" He jumps with excitement and kisses her forehead. She smiles full of heart bursting as he runs to Rose's house.
"Rose she agreed!" His faint exclaims can be heard making her laughs softly.
"Yes!" Rose also jumps excitedly.
"Come on, Ella!"
