Armin hated doing this— he hates departing from Y/N to group into squads and formation. He hates the feeling of that gap in space. He hated not being close to you.

Ever part of him aced as he looked at he small frame standing beside Sasha and exchanging a conversation. He didn't like putting her in situations were he'd tell her all the reasons she should be careful. So whenever she looked at him and walked over to him, he avoided eye contact.

"Armin~ Don't be such a poopy rat—" Her heard her say in a sing song voice. He loved hearing her voice- and the stupid things she'd say. It made her so special, special to him.

"Wha-what do you want me to say?" He said looking over at the horse that he'd been feeding. "Armin you idiot— Do what you normally do and blab about how I need to be safe"

He looked over at her and smiled, "Y/N I really love you, and you need to be careful"

"Oh I will be~" She giggled then wrapped her arms around him, hugging him from behind. "Armin I really love you too"

It's all in the past now. Now she's in his arms. Now she has her eyes closed. Now she's gone.

He could still feel her heart beat, and he used his hand to block the bleeding from her head. She had hit the ground at such a harsh impact it probably would've broken more then a few bones. Though she's still pushing through it.

"A-Armin look at the birds.." She tried to move her hand to point at the birds but winced. Armin looked over to the sky eying the birds flying by.

"I-I wish I could f..fly.." Armin shushed her, she couldn't talk right now, I'd only make her more weak.

"Hey— Don't talk.. I-I wanna heat your voice— b-but don't talk"

She looked at him. "Y-You talk then" She said quietly.

Armin smiled and looked up at the sky. "Remember our promise? I think we'll make it, you always help me out and, it-it sounds so stupid but you're so perfect— You're the reason I'm still alive."

Armin looked down at the girl in his arms, she wasn't breathing. He knew what his said was a little calming—

And she knew she was happy the second she saw the sea.

She really did love him.
