The Alpha and The Omega

Chapter nineteen

Things began to change, both the Alpha and Omega had finished Exams. The time was stressful for them both, ever since they had mated. Nathanial had shown signs of being pregnant, he had done the tests, but it always showed negative, so they left it. Morgan was more protective, he wouldn't let anyone near his mate. Being an Omega, Nathanial had to be protected. James and Allison had both talked to Morgans parents, his mother jot wanting anything to do with him anymore while Jefferson wanted to be in his son's life. That lead to his parents getting divorced and Nathanial had to keep his boyfriend calm, he would watch over him and hold him close and make sure he wouldn't let his Alpha side take over.

It had been two weeks after Exams, and both the Omega and Alpha were looking for jobs, hoping they would get the same work hours so the wouldn't have to make plans to see each other. Nathanial stayed in the Cafe, but he wanted to look for a second job with better pay so his Aunt and Uncle weren't the ones in charge of his college bills. Allison would try and argue, saying he should be focusing on something else other than studies, especially his doctor's appointment. Even though the tests say no, his Aunt wanted to double check, she needed to know for sure. Especially with the signs the Omega showed. He would crave certain foods, he would feel nauseous and not vomit, and when he did he wouldn't be able to eat for a good few hours and he would go back to the foods he would crave for hours.

When the day finally came, Nathanial, Morgan and Allison all made their way to the doctors. Morgan tried to tell the woman that she didn't need to come, but she just ignored him. He understood why. He might have gotten her sixteen-year-old Omega nephew pregnant. But he was glad that it was after Exams. When they got there, Nathanial was called in and he was only allowed to bring one person. Morgan was the choice he chose to go in, as it could be his son or daughter in his stomach causing this. When they walked in, the doctor stood up, smiling. She had long brown hair, a good physique and gentle eyes.
"Good morning Sirs, how can I help you today?" she asked, her voice was deep for a woman's, but both teens didn't mind.
"I'm here about a ultrasound. I have been showing signs of pregnancy, but every test I have taken have shown negative," Nathanial said as he sat down, Morgan holding his hand softly.
"We see this a lot in Omegas. So we will do this test, but there is a chance you won't be pregnant and you're just going through the symptoms." She said as she told him to lay down. "Please life your shirt up, and this gel might be a little cold." Morgan watched his mate as he did what he was told, watching him shiver at the cold gel which made him laugh softly, the Omega pulling his tongue.  As the woman did the scan, she looked for a good five minutes, looking down.
"I'm sorry, but there is no baby. It is very rare for male Omegas. Maybe try again, when you're older." She said as she cleaned the boys stomach, Nathanial and Morgan both sad. They nodded their heads before they left.

When they walked out, Nathanial was pulled into his Alphas strong arms, tears sliding down his face. He knew that it was going to be difficult, but they both start college in two months, they start work the next week and they had too much to do. Part of him was glad, while the other part just wanted to curl up in his mates arms and cry. He wanted a child, but he knew he was too young, he had a lot to do in his life and he would accept that. Morgan felt his mates sadness as it mixed with his own. He picked the small teen up and he felt the small legs wrap around him as he walked out. Allison could tell by the state of them both, it wasn't the news they wanted to hear, especially after what her husband told her the night of when they had sex.

A few months had passed since the two found out they wouldn't be having a child together just yet, but it didn't stop them. They knew that they had to finish college, get good jobs and then try again. They were both in college now, Nathanial learning to become a nurse while Morgan was learning to become a teacher. Both of them were working their hardest, and they knew that they were going to do it. They weren't going to give up.

They didn't give up, the years they were in college and university came out as a positive, Morgan had became a Maths teacher at their old high school while Nathanial was the school nurse. They would spend their lunch together, they would care for one another. But Nathanial knew something was wrong with him. He was throwing up in the mornings, he was wanting weird food combinations, so he did the only thing he could do. He got one of the school pregnancy tests and walked to the bathroom, doing the test. As he waited patiently, his eyes lit up when he saw the results. He grabbed it and ran to his mates classroom, seeing the room filled with children.
"Eh- Mr Lewis can I see you outside?" He asked, Morgan nodding his head as he stepped out of the room.
"You okay love?" Morgan asked, Nathanial showing his mate the pregnancy test. Morgan's mouth dropped and he hugged his mate tightly and picked him up.
"I'm going to be a dad!"
"I'm going to be a papa!" Nathanial said and Morgan felt tears fall from his eyes. This was where their life was going to start. It was going to start with the little bundle in his mates stomach.
