The Alpha and The Omega

Chapter Four

The two males just stared at one another, not one of them speaking. Nathanial was waiting for Morgan to order, but he felt awkward because the other hadn't chosen anything. He closed his eyes and he took a deep breath, slightly, just trying to hold the sigh he was holding. Morgan looked up at the Omega and he could smell the fear and annoyance coming off of him, and he knew it was because he hadn't ordered anything yet. Nathanial was about to leave, but Morgan grabbed his arm, telling him what he wanted, Nathanial writing it down quickly. The Omega picked up the others menu before he went to the till typing in the order and he sent in. He then heard his boss speaking and he saw the drink starting to be made.

Once the drink was finished, Nathanial placed it on a tray along with a sandwich someone else had ordered and he walked through the cafe, smiling at customers as he held a pot of coffee, refilling peoples mugs. The young boy placed down the person sandwich and he walked over to Morgan's table, placing the drink down on the table. He smiled nervously and took a deep breath.
"Please enjoy sir, if there are any problems please come to the front till and we will try our best to solve the problem." Once he spoke, he bowed his head and he walked out of the room. He sighed heavily as he did and he rubbed the back of his neck as he walked to the front till greeting customers as he walked in.

As they grew older, more customers came in and out, Nathanial greeting them and waving as they left. Nathanial was about to walk out to collect glasses when he heard the door open. He turned his head and closed his eyes as he smiled.
He took a deep breath when he realized who they were, he could recognize their voices and their laughter, making him panic a little. He stood up straight and grabbed a tray, collecting glasses from empty tables. He saw a footstep out in front of him and he jumped over it, walking to the counter shelf as he placed the glasses on it. Nathanial knew that he was the only one taking orders, and he knew he would have to go over to their table. The table filled with the people who bully him.

After around of ten minutes of thinking, Nathanial walked over to the table, scratching the back of his head as he held the pen and notepad. The people of the group stared at him and smiled slightly, Nathanial smiling back. He waited for one of them to speak, but he knew he would have to be the first one.
"Hello, welcome to Happy Cafe. What can I get you all today?" He said with a nervous smile and a hint of fear. He looked to see Morgan still in the middle of drinking his milkshake, and he bit the inside of his lip.
"I'd like two slices of Carrot Cake and a Vanilla, Chocolate and two Banana milkshakes please, with cream." Nathanial wrote the order Jake said and nodded his head as he re-said it.
"So two Carrot Cakes, a Vanilla, Chocolate and two Banana milkshakes. They will be coming right up." He then walked away as he placed the order into the register and he placed the recipe on the tray the cakes and the drinks would go on.

As he waited for the order, he walked around and started to prepare the cream to put of the drinks. First finished was the Bananas milkshakes and he added cream to them, he then got the other two milkshakes and put the cream on them. Once the order was fully complete he walked over to the table, placing the drinks and cakes down as he put the recipe on the table. Nathanial walked off after he was finished and he sighed heavily as he looked at the time, realizing his shift was almost over. He looked at the tips he had gotten and smiled as he placed them in his back pocket. He took off his apron as he finished his shift and he walked to the back room, changing into his normal clothes as he placed his work clothes in his locker, knowing his boss will get them dry cleaned.

Nathanial soon walked out of the back room and he clocked out as he stared at the time. He walked to the front of the cafe as he bought a muffin to go. He realized that the Alphas and Betas from his school were no longer there and he rubbed his head as he grabbed the muffin. When he walked out of the cafe, he was grabbed from behind and his mouth was covered. The Omega screamed in fear as he tried to fight against the people holding him. Nathanial let tears slide down his eyes as he was dragged into a dark alleyway. He trembled in fear as he stood frozen, knowing that the person who was holding him wasn't going to let go. He felt the Alphas grip on him loosen and he pulled away, running out of the alleyway as he began to run down the street.

When Nathanial ran, he let tears fall down his face. He rubbed his eyes and he continued to run, stumbling a little as he ran. He fell to the floor and he breathed heavily, flinching away when he felt someone grab his shoulder. He backed away in fear and his eyes widened as he panted for breath. He gripped his chest and he looked up at the Alpha who was above him, his eyes going wide as he trembled harder.
"C-coach?"
"Hey what wrong, what happened?" The coach asked and Nathanial shook harder.
"S-someone grabbed me, they dragged me into a—an alleyway," he whispered as he trembled harder. He curled up in fear and he gripped his arms. The coach took out his phone and he rang the police.

When the police arrived at the area, the Omega was still trembling with fear. He was curled up tightly and let tears fall from his eyes. He tried to take deep breaths and the coach rubbed his back, the police taking them both to the station to ask questions. Nathanials Aunt and Uncle were phoned because they were his adoptive parents and legal guardian. Once they got there, they ran into the room, hugging him tightly as the boy broke down. He gripped onto his parents' shoulders and he sobbed loudly, trying to calm down. He closed his eyes tightly and tear streaks slid down his cheek. The two rubbed his head and his uncle picked him up, placing the Omega boy on his back, and he rubbed his head. He walked to the car and he placed the boy in the backseat before he and his wife got in the front, the two of them looking at each other before driving home.
