With anticipation
It hunted my dreams
And my nightmares
To a never ending cycle
It tortured me
With joy
And happiness
And sadness
When what I've waited for isn't what I imagined
It makes me ache
At thing I could've said
Or changed
It makes me happy
That maybe it's meant to be this way
It makes me sad
That it was meant to be this way
But life is like that sometimes
Makes you anticipate
And wait
For things that are too ordinary
For You .
