I feel like I'm in an alternate universe
Like I'm somewhere that I'm not familiar with
Somewhere I've never been
And I try to piece together what I see
Try to understand this place I'm in
Make sense of my universe
Make sense of my reality
I dream of a day
Where I understand this world
And it won't be a void of mystry to me anymore
It will be more than that
It will become something that I'm not afraid of
It will become my friend
