Narrator:

Ada stopped infront of Tyler's home. She scrunched her face and knocked. She let out a sigh. Tyler rubbed his eyes and blinked before he realized Ada was at the door. "A-" she burst into tears becoming weak in her legs. Tyler grabbed her, holding onto her bags strap. "A-Ada?" Her breaths were short and groggy, she hiccuped a couple times through her sobs. "I-I-I.." She looked pale but to him, she glowed no matter how she looked. He rubbed her arm up and down soothingly while whispering into her ear. Exactly the words she wanted to hear. As his arm hung around her neck, he led her inside.

His room was a navy blue, it looked old but nice. His clothes draped over his dresser neatly, his room spotless. the outside was messy and worn but inside was a whole new home. He sat her down in a chair with a desk infront. He sat on the edge of his bed waiting for her to be calm enough to even breathe. She let out a big sigh and explained the situation. "And that's it. I came here. Too many of my friends are far too long to walk to." Her puffy face was red, from the tip of her nose all the way to the tip of her ears. Tyler gave a tiny smile. "I'm glad you're okay Adaliene." The way he said her name sent a shiver through her body. She rubbed her arm. "I'm so sorry Tyler. I didnt mean to drag you into this mess, you've only just met me and here I am already sobbing at your house." she let out a giggle. Tyler smiled, his cheeks tinted pink.

After 5 minutes of them chuckling, Tyler got up and went over to Ada. She was sleeping at this point. He stroked her hair behind her ear and picked her up setting her down on his bed. He covered her with his blanket. It was 2:30 am but he didnt care. He wanted her to rest as much as she could before going to school the next morning.

Tyler's Thoughts:

I need to talk to her mom. Maybe she'd understand then. Maybe then I could get Ada to tell me about why she came here too.

Narrator:

It was now 5:45 am. Tyler had eye bags and was pale. He woke Ada. "Hey.." his soft tone carried through her body. She rubbed her eyes sitting up on his bed. Without saying anything she grabbed her bag and headed to the bathroom across the room to change. Tyler laughed softly. He yawned changing out of his clothes. He slipped his jeans on grabbing for his belt. As he was buckling his belt, Ada came out of the bathroom and stopped. He hadn't noticed her, but she noticed everything. She saw how muscular he was, how tan he was, and that he has a small tattoo on his mid back. A tattoo that said "Angie" with angel wings on the side. Her eyes were glued to his body. He turned and saw her, he grabbed a shirt quickly and put it over his chest, face turning red. "I- Ada-" She stopped staring, "Oh! Oh my God sorry-" she turned covering her eyes.

"S-Sorry..I'm insecure.." he slipped on his jacket. She stared at him uncertain, "But..you shouldn't be. You..you're so, perfect." Tyler's heart started rushing out of his chest. "You r ew ally think so?" Ada nods smiling. He hesitates. "We should get to the bus." She nods.
