 I woke up to a empty bed once again. My boyfriend had been on tour now for about a week, I looked at my phone seeing 4 missed calls from my friends and who knows how many messages, but the ones that did catch my eye were from Ashley my boyfriend. I decided I would read them later, I scrolled through Instagram seeing some posts saying happy birthday (y/n)! Oh right its my birthday... I groaned realizing how many notifications I would be getting today and having to answer. I continued scrolling stopping on Ashley's picture of him and I kissing. I looked at the caption and smiled as I read what he said. 

   I am so grateful to have met someone who loves me for me. I cant imagine a world with out her. Happy birthday to my dearest love (Y/n)! I miss you so much and hope to see you very soon!   ~xoxo

I set my phone down getting out of bed and going down stairs and making some cereal. I poured some milk in a glass and took everything to the couch. I curled up and took a bite of my breakfast then turned on the tv to watch (f/show) time past as I was now on season 3 ep 25. My phone started ringing so I answered "Hello?" I asked "hey there kitty" I heard from the other side as a grin played at my lips. "Hey babe, hows tour?" I asked. "It's good, I miss you..I heard some friends will be picking you up for a surprise...don't ask me how" he said, I could see his smirk . "Okay...I miss you and love you so much" I say sadly. "I miss you to, sorry I couldn't be there for your birthday, ill be home soon" he whispered and hung up. I groaned finishing my food and setting it in the sink. I went up stairs and showered, next I brushed my teeth and brushed my hair and styled it to my perfection.

I picked out a (f/c) dress that was above my knees and had side sleeves.  I put on some heels along with a neck less Ashley gave me. I heard the door bell so I grabbed my purse and phone heading down. "One minute!" I called as I popped some gum in my mouth and then opened the door to a huge surprise. "hey there kitty" he said with a smile, I stood there shocked for about a minute before jumping into his arms. He returned it by kissing my lips and keeping his arms around my waist. "Happy birthday, I missed you" he said making me choke out a laugh. "I have some where to take you, close your eyes" he said, he lead me to the car and drove off as I kept my eyes closed. A few minutes passed until the car stopped, he got out and helped me out "keep your eyes closed" he said leading my up a hill I think it was. "Okay open them" he said as I slowly opened them and gasped. 

I looked at the area "its amazing Ashley" I said sitting down on the blanket. "Thanks, I was planning this for a while" he shrugged sitting next to me. "I'm starving" he said making us laugh and dig in. Hours passed, we spent the whole day there and watched the sunset. I laid my head on his shoulder as he wrapped his arms around me keeping me warm. "I love you so much" he said kissing my head. "I love you more" I said kissing his lips. We stayed in that position for a few minutes until he had us stand up "Um (y/n) I have known you for a while so I was wondering if" I said getting on one knee and opening a box to show a ring. "Will you marry me?" he asked watching me. I could see he was slightly shaking and was on edge waiting to be rejected. "Yes...YES" I said tears now flowing as he got up and hugged me giving me a very passionate kiss. I guess you could say it was the best birthday ever.
